Abstract

A tow bar featuring a tow ball wherein opposite sides have been flattened to reduce or eliminate the side to side snaking movement of a trailer or caravan.

Description

TOW BAR
This invention relates to a Tow Bar. A Tow bar is used for pulling Caravans, plant and machinery and other various equipment from a place or destination to other place or destination.
However the current Tow Bar has a fatal flaw commonly know as “Snake movement” or “Side to Side movement” which can cause the towed vehicle uncontrollable swinging motion which has lead to the front towing vehicle to lose control and then lead to either or both vehicles to topple, roll over or collide into third stationary, moving vehicle or obstacle.
To overcome this, the present invention proposes to include straight sides to a current tow bar.
The new Tow bar with added sides will decrease or eliminate the “Side to Side movement”
The invention will be now be described solely by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which:

Claims (2)

1. A tow bar comprising of comprising with straight sides means for towing caravans, plant or machinery.
2. A tow bar according to claim 1, in which die straight sides means to provide decrease and elimination of the “side to side movement”.
