Delivery apparatus. - Sheet-delivery apparatus for printing-machines comprises a carriage 4 reciprocating on rails 6 between the machine and the delivery board 26, and carrying two sets of tapes, one set 20 receiving the sheets X from the machine 1, 2 and transferring them to the other set 19, which deposits them on the delivery board. The tapes 19 are in the form of endless bands passing over pulleys 17, 18; the tapes 20 are attached to bars 4<a>, 4<b> at opposite ends of the carriage 4, and pass over rollers 21, 22 journaled in the machine frame, the bars and rollers being arranged so that one part of the tapes 20 lies above the upper end of the tapes 19 and the other part lies below. As the sheet leaves the delivery cylinder 3 it is received on the tapes 20 which are moving leftwards with the carriage 4. On the reverse movement of the carriage, the sheet is deposited on the tapes 19 which remain stationary relatively to the carriage. When the car. riage begins its leftward movement again, the pulleys 17, 18 are rotated so that the tapes 19 are rolled from under the sheet X, which then drops on to the delivery board 26. The carriage 4 is reciprocated from the impression cylinder 1 through crank 9 and links 11 - - 15.
