Abstract

A bracket A with a cradle C that is releasably attached to a fence post D and held in place by means of a bolt or screw B. A horizontal cane E can be placed upon the cradles of at least two brackets whereby garden plants or their supports F can be tied to the cane. The bracket can be moved up the fence post to offer continued support as the plants grow. The fence post D is preferably a concrete post. The bracket A preferably wraps around the back of the fence post D and is held in position at the front by the bolt or screw B.

Description

DESCRIPTION POST CLAMP
The invention is made of a suitable material such as aluminium, this is for strength plus it's non rusting properties.
The bracket is designed primarily but not exclusively for concrete fence posts.
The bracket (A) is attached to a support post (D) using a bolt or screw (B) tightened to hold the device in place.
A cross member (E) such as a garden cane can then be set into the cradle (C) part of the bracket, upon which a plant/plant's or plant/plant's support (F) can be attached using garden string/ wire (H) or the like.

Claims (3)

  1. CLAIMS1. My invention reduces the risk of damage to plants either by growing too tall to support them, or by other influences such as wind or human error.
  2. 2. My invention allows the devices to be moved up or down dependant on the height required.
  3. 3. My invention allows the devices to be moved to other locations as they are not a permanent fixture and leave little if any marking/damage such as screw holes.
