253,122. Uhde, G. F. June 4, 1925, [Convention date]. Catalytic agents, preparation of; ammonia, catalytic production of from nitrogen and hydrogen.-Compounds of iron and cyanogen in which the cation is aluminium are prepared for use as catalysts in the synthesis of ammonia. In an example, solutions of potassium ferrocyanide and aluminium chloride are mixed and heated and the product dried. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) describes generally the preparation of compounds of iron and cyanogen in which the cation is a metal other than iron. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
