Abstract

A vehicle hazard warning device for use to warn and divert traffic around a potential hazard comprising a plastic case having a plurality of LED lights that show a directional arrow, a rechargeable power source and a suction method to attach the light unit to a window/windscreen.

Description

Hazzard Alert Description
A light reuseable/ mobile high intensity directional arrow using 12v led lighting to divert oncoming traffic around the hazard of a broken down vehicle or other obstruction in their path which may cause an accident.
This device can use the 12v supply of the broken down vehicle or can be used with an independent power source using a rechargeable battery.

Claims (6)

  1. Hazard Alert Claims 1 Hazard Alert is a lightweight re-useable/ mobile warning system using LED lighting and a controller to divert traffic around a potential hazard. This is attached to the front or rear screens using suckers and uses a direction arrow to divert traffic.
  2. 2 Hazard Alert is the safest way to let other motorists know you have broken down and to divert around your vehicle and is more obvious than hazard lights the warning triangle or cones.
  3. 3 There are over a million breakdowns per year due to electrical problems; Hazard Alert is the only directional form of warning light with its own rechargeable power source available to the motorist.
  4. 4 As a safety aid the Hazard Alert can be seen from greater distances than Hazard Lights, triangles or cones especially at night.
  5. S Disabled drivers can now alert other motorists when they have an electrical breakdown without having to leave their vehicle by having the Hazard Alert fixed inside their rear or front windscreen.
  6. 6 Hazard Alert can be used if you are driving on the left or right hand side of the road simply by rotating it.
