Tips.-The prongs of domed castors are arrranged with their broad faces at right angles one to another and are so spaced that when applied to the corners of furniture such as book cases in which the bottom is formed of a rectangular frame, the prongs lie with the grain in both pieces of wood. As shown in Fig. 1, the castor A is provided with flat extensions C in which the prongs B are provided. Fig. 4 shows a castor of kidney shape with prongs' B. In another form, the castor has a pair of flat projections with prongs, a third prong being provided on its circumference.
