Abstract

A wrist watch strap or band comprising a notification alert unit, a PCB unit, a microphone, an IR sensor unit, a fitness data unit and a battery pack. The strap may comprise at least one speaker, or one speaker on the outside of the strap and one on the inside of the strap. The strap may further comprise at least one SIM card slot, a holographic projector beam and a clasp. The sensor may be one of a steps taken sensor, a calories burned sensor, a sleep pattern sensor, a heart rate sensor or a blood sugar sensor.

WRIST WATCH STRAP OR BAND
Field of the Invention
[0001] The present invention relates to a wrist watch strap or band.
Specifically, the invention relates to a wrist watch strap or band comprising a PCB unit, a microphone, an IR sensor unit, a fitness data unit, a notification alert unit and a battery pack and optionally also other components.
Background of the Invention
[0002] Over the years, various types of wrist watch strap or bands have been proposed, including wrist watch straps or wrist watch bands of various sizes, shapes, materials, colours and designs.
Summary of the Invention
[0003] Problems with prior art wrist watch straps or bands include that they do not have more functions than being a strap device for the watch.
[0004] The present invention overcomes these problems by including more devices into the wrist watch strap or band.
[0005] According to the first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a wrist watch strap or band comprising a PCB unit, a microphone, an IR sensor unit, a fitness data unit, a notification alert unit and a battery pack.
[0006] According to another aspect of the present invention, there is provided a wrist watch strap or band comprising a PCB unit, a microphone, an IR sensor unit, a fitness data unit, a notification alert unit, a battery pack and at least one speaker.

The LED notification alert unit may change its colour according to the kind of notification. In other words, the colour of the LED notification alert unit may be blue in case of Twitter notification, yellow in case of a text message and white in case of an email or vice versa or any other colours or colour combinations may apply.

Claims (18)

  1. Claims 1. A wrist watch strap or band (1) comprising a notification alert unit (2), a PCB unit (6), a microphone (3), an IR sensor unit (4) a fitness data unit (4'), and a battery pack (5).
  2. 2. A wrist watch strap or band of claim 1, further comprising at least one speaker (12).

  3. 3. A wrist watch strap or band according to claim 2, wherein there is a speaker located on the outside of the wrist watch strap or band.
  4. 4. A wrist watch strap or band according to claim 2, wherein there is a speaker located on the outside of the wrist watch strap or band and there is a speaker located on the inside of the wrist watch strap or band.
  5. 5. A wrist watch strap or band of claims 1-4, further comprising at least one sim card slot (13).
  6. 6. A wrist watch strap or band of claims 1-5, further comprising a sim card slot (13).
  7. 7. A wrist watch strap or band of claims 1-6, further comprising a projector beam (14).
  8. 8. A wrist watch strap or band of claims 1-7, wherein the projector beam (14) is a holographic projector beam.
  9. 9. A wrist watch strap or band according to claims 1-8, wherein the fitness data unit (4') comprises at least one of a steps taken sensor (4'a), a calories burned sensor (4'b) and a sleep pattern sensor (4'c).
  10. 10. A wrist watch strap or band according to claims 1-9, wherein the notification alert unit (2) comprises at least one of a vibrator (2a) and a LED notification alert unit (2b).
  11. 11. A wrist watch strap or band according to claims 1-10, wherein the PCB unit (6) comprises a processor (6a) and a memory (6b).
  12. 12. A wrist watch strap or band according to claims 1-11, wherein the IR sensor unit (4) comprises at least one of a heart rate sensor (4a) and a blood sugar levels sensor (4b).
  13. 13. A wrist watch strap or band according to claims 1-12, wherein the wrist watch strap or band is made of leather, PVC, rubber, silicone or metal.
  14. 14. A wrist watch strap or band device (7) comprising a clasp (8) and a wrist watch strap or band according to claims 1-13.
  15. 15. A wrist watch strap or band device according to claim 14, wherein the clasp (8) is a buckle clasp (8a).
  16. 16. A wrist watch strap or band device according to claim 14, wherein the clasp (8) is a single folding clasp (Sb).
  17. 17. A wrist watch strap or band device according to claim 14, wherein the clasp (8) is a double folding clasp (8c).
  18. 18. An assembly (9) comprising the wrist watch strap or band device (7) of claims 14-17, a watch (10) and components (ha) and (hib) for fixing the wrist watch strap or band device (7) to the watch (10).
