Description
GOLF TEE
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[000iJ The present invention relates to a golf tee.
BACKGCIRCULAR OF THE INVENTION
100021 As golf is becoming increasingly popular, various improvements for golf-related products, such as golf clubs, golf balls and golf tees, are emerged.
[00031 Golf tees, which are inserted into the ground by the golfers, are used for placing golf balls on the heads of the golf tees, so that golfers can drive golf balls easily. An easy-to-use golf tee can not only be convenient to the golfers for hitting the golf balls but also increase the pleasure of driving the golf balls for the golfers.
[0004] However, the conventional golf tees are only provided for placing golf balls, but not designed for facilitating golf ball hitting and orienting golf balls. The concave heads of the conventional golf tees are used for receiving the golf balls. However, the golf tees are to be rubbed and even be collided by the golf balls when the golf balls are hit since a large contact area exists between the concave heads and the golf balls, causing the hitting energy to be absorbed to some extent by the conventional golf tees. Thus the flight paths of the golf balls are deflected and the flight distance of the golf balls are reduced.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
[0005J In view of the circumstances, the present invention is to provide a golf tee for increasing the accuracy of driving the golf balls and the flight distance of the golf balls.
[00061 The primary object of the present invention is to provide a golf tee, comprising: a tee body and a ball-supporting section, the tee body having a head portion and a base portion longitudinally extending from the head portion, the ball-supporting section, disposed on an upper surface of the head portion, including at least three supporting bumps located on a periphery of the upper surface of the head portion, wherein an interval is formed between the adjacent two supporting bumps on a peripheral line of the periphery of the upper surface of the head portion so that a plurality of intervals are formed, and there is only one of the intervals being greater than the other intervals which are substantially the same.
[0007] Another object of the present invention is to provide a golf tee, wherein the base portion has a conical section tapered downwardly.
[0008] Another object of the present invention is to provide a golf tee, wherein the base portion has a straight section being connected between the conical section and the head portion.
[0009] Another object of the present invention is to provide a golf tee, wherein the head portion has a neck portion formed by being tapered from both end of the head portion to the center of the head portion.
[00101 Another object of the present invention is to provide a golf tee, wherein the supporting bump has a rounded top end.
10011] Another object of the present invention is to provide a golf tee, wherein the supporting bump has a cylinder section being connected between the rounded top end and the upper surface of the head portion, and the diamctcr of the cylinder section and the diameter of the rounded top end are the same.
10012] Another object of the present invention is to provide a golf tee, wherein the upper surface of the head portion has a ball-containing groove longitudinally extending.
[0013] Another object of the present invention is to provide a golf tee, wherein the ball-supporting portion is provided with a mark located adjacent to a position where the maximum interval is formed.
[0014J By way of the tecimical means adopted by the present invention, the plurality of supporting bumps of the ball-supporting portion can effectively reduce the contact area between the golf tee and the golf ball, and the maximum interval of the ball-supporting portion corresponds to the flight direction of the golf ball, causing the golf ball not to collide with the golf tee. Thus, the flight distance of the golf ball will not be reduced. In addition, the two supporting bumps adjacent to the maximum interval can lead the golf ball to fly along the flight path, thereby increasing the accuracy of hitting the golf ball.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
[0015] The strucftire and the technical means adopted by the present invention to achieve the above and other objectives can be best understood by referring to the following detailed description of the preferred embodiments and the accompanying drawings.
Fig. 1 is a stereogram illustrating a golf tee according to an embodiment of the present invention; Fig. 2 is a top view illustrating the golf tee according to the embodiment of the present invention; Fig. 3 is a schematic diagram illustrating the golf tee according to the embodiment of the present invention.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
[0016J Embodiments are described in detail below with reference to the Fig. I to Fig. 3, and the description is used for explaining the embodiments of the present invention only, but not intended to limit the described embodiments of the present invention.
10017] Referring to Fig. 1 to Fig. 3, a golf tee 100 according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a tee body 1 and a ball-supporting section 2. The tee body I is provided with a head portion 11 and a base portion 12. The base portion 12 is longitudinally extending from the head portion 11. The ball-supporting section is provided on an upper surface ill of the head portion 11 and includes at least three supporting bumps 21 located on a periphery of the upper surface ill of the head portion 11. An interval 22 is formed between the adjacent two supporting bumps 21 on a peripheral line of the periphery of the upper surface 111 of the head portion 11 so that a plurality of intervals 22 are formed. The interval 22 is an arc length between the adjacent two supporting bumps 21. There is only one of the intervals 221 being greater than the other intervals 222 which are substantially the same. Specifically, the interval 221 is formed between two supporting bumps 21a and 21b.
[0018] Referring to Fig. I to Fig. 3, according to the golf tee 100 of the embodiment of the present invention, the ball-supporting portion 2 is provided with a mark 23 located adjacent to a position where the maximum interval 221 is formed for identifying thereof When using the golf tee 100, the maximum interval 221 is provided in a position corresponding to a flight direction D of a golf ball B placed on the ball-supporting portion 2. The collision with the ball-supporting portion 2 thus can be avoided via the maximum interval 221 when the golf ball B is hit out, then reducing the amount of hitting energy absorbed by the ball-supporting portion 2, so that the decrease of the flight distance of the golf ball B is thereby avoided. In addition, the supporting bumps 21a and 2lb can enable the golf ball B to fly along the flight direction D whereby the flight direction D of the golf ball B is guided, thus increasing the accuracy of hitting the golf ball B. [0019J Referring to Fig. 1 and Fig. 3, optionally, the base portion 12 is provided with a conical section 121 tapered downwardly and a straight section 122, wherein the straight section 122 is connected between the conical section 121 and a lower surface 112 of the head portion ilso as to insert the base portion 12 into the ground U in a convenient way.
