The box contains an electrical heating-element, such as a pair of lamps or a resistance, and a fan 6. The fan 6 is driven by an electric motor 5 mounted on the rear wall 19 of the box and is connected by a flexible tube 9 with an adjustable vaginal speculum. The top wall 17 of the box supports switches 3, 20, controlling the heating- element and the motor 5 respectively, and a thermometer 12 communicating with the interior of the box. A funnel 21 closed by a stopper 22 permits the supply to the fan 6 of an antiseptic powder.
