Abstract
There is disclosed a rescue device for evacuating persons from installations, where said device defines a rescue passage in a zigzag shaped pattern, where through persons may pass from above from an entrance to an exit from the rescue passage, and downwards to an exciting/landing area. The device is characterized by that it comprises a sheet (1) of two layers, a back layer (10) of a mostly not stretchable cloth material or a seine thread material (10) and a front layer (20) of an elastic and giving material (20) of a seine thread material with a mesh network, where said back (10) and front (20) layers are joined by a number of mutually separated and mostly parallel zigzag shaped seam patterns for forming one or more evacuation channels (2) between the cloth material/ the seine thread material (10) and the seine material (20) for the passage of persons during evacuation. A use of the device is also disclosed.
