Abstract

250,470. Saulter, A. W. Sept. 25, 1925. Reel holders and cases.-Coiled wire and the like is mounted upon a core 2, Fig. 1, interposed between and permanently uniting two. box blanks a, b, shaped so that they can be folded into a boxlike structure or unfolded as shown to enable the container to be used as a spool for winding. The blank a is cruciform, the parts e being adapted to be folded inwards along lines 4. The blank b is rectangular and slit at 5 so that portions 7 may be folded within the container. The core 2 may comprise concentric sleeves, of which one is longer than the other and flared outwards as at 10, or may comprise one sleeve with a bead 9, Fig. 4, to abut against the blanks when the outer edge is flared.
