Description

Rear spoiler for a motor vehicle The invention relates to a rear spoiler for a motor vehicle.
JP 2011-10.5045 a has disclosed a rear spoiler for a motor vehicle, said rear spoiler comprising an outer part and an inner part, wherein the inner part is connected to a body structure by a fratne.
ac The invention *seek* to provide a rear spoiler on a tailgate for a motor Ehicle, said rear spoIler, having been positioned with respect to the vehicle roof and with respect to the outer surface of the vehicle, being mountable in a fixed connection to a tailgate frame.
This can be achieved according to the invention by the fat'ures of claim I, Further advantageous features are contained in the dependent claims.
Advantages primarily obtained with aspects of the invention consist in that a positionally precise arrangement with respect to the vehicle is ensured via a connecting concept consisting of positlonally fixed receptacles and latching lugs, which correspond thereto, on the spoiler-This is achieved acoording to aspects of the, invention by the inner part being connectabla to a continuous, transversely oriented retaining strip which i's fastened/'fastenahle to an upper side of a transversely running, upper tailgate frame which ha locally U-shaped insertion receptacles, in which protruding latching lugs on. a front edge of the inner part of the rear spoiler engage in a connecting position.
In particular, it is provided according to an aspec:t of the invention that the latching lugs are arranged on the front ss edge of a border on a limb of the inner part in the central region and at free ends of the inner part and are opposite the U-shaped insertion receptacles oriented in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and can be inserted into the receptacles to form the connection. The U-shaped receptacles j* the retaining strip ate fixed locally with respect to the frame, thus obtaining a precise assignment of th inter part and therefore of the rear spoiler. The latching, ugs can then he inserted into the receptacles in a simple installation mariner by being pLwhed in" f.roAi bohind in the itcna I. L ud md direction off the vehicle.
LU
For the flush arrangement of tho limb of the inner part with respect to the frame1 the U-shaped receptacles are arranged in trough-shaped depressions in the frame1 and sections of the retaining strip that are located between the receptacles are 1E arranged at a higher level and. sections of the limb that are located between the latching ltigs..of the inner part rest on said sections. Ufliform support on the retaining strip is therefore produced via the sections.
23 According to an aspect of the invention, the inner part of the rear spoiler is connected to the tailgate frame by the inner part. of the spoiler being connected,/connctable td the tailgate frame via an in each case lateral screw connection oriented in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle and via 2s an oblique screw connection. This produces a fixed connection.
between the inner part of the rear spoiler and the tailgate frame.
The outer part of the rear spoiler is supported in the frOnt 3D region --as seen with respect to the direction of travel --.on the upper side of the tailgate frame and, in a central region.
on a U-shaped and transversely running, elevated formation on the inner part and is connected to said formatiom At the rear region, the outer part is furthermore connected to the inner pazt. The CQnnection is preferably undertaken via adhesive bonds or the like.
So that the spoiler can be precisely positioned on the vehicle or on the thilgate, the position of the rear spoiler on the tailgate frame is determined in the x direction by the U-s shaped receptacles in the ietaining strip and by the sciew connection between the inner -part and the tailgate frame.
Afi ush arrangement of the outer part of the rear spoiler with respect to the roo.f of the vehicle in the y direction is n determined by th vertical position of the U-shaped receptacles of the retainin strip and the latching lugs in the inner part. By means of this fixing of the rear spoiler firstly via the latching-lugs which are insertable ipto the U-shaped receptacles arid secondly by the screw connections, an is optimum position of the rear spoiler on the vehicle is ensured.
An aspect of the invention provides a motor vehicle tomprising a rear spoiler according to any other aspect off the invention.
2n exemplary embodiment of the invention is illustrated in the drawings and described in more detail below.
2 In the drawings: Fig. 1 shows a diagrammatic illustration of *a rear. poile.
as seen from above1 Pig. 2 shows a view of a tailgate frame with a retaining strip pLaced thereon and with U-shaped insertion receptacJ.es, Fig. 3 shows au enlarged illustration of the frame with the retaining strip and an x screw connection and an oblique screw connection of the inner part, Fig. 4 shows a view of the. inner part of the rear spoiler with protruding latching lugs arranged on a.11mb.,. and Fig. 5 shows a section along the line V--V of fig. 1 and partially fig. 2 through a latching lug and insertion receptacle connection.
A rear spoilcr 1 for a motor vehicle is arranged on an upper side of a tailgate or of a rear of a motor vehicle and is connected to the tailgate frame 2 or to a body shell of the vehicle. The rear speller 1 consists of an outer part:3 with an ar --guiding surface 4 and an inner part 5. The outer and iu inner parts 3, 5 are fastened. to. each other, for example? Via adhesive bonds ot other types of connection. A rear wIndow 9 which is supported on the inside of the tailgate frame 2 via an elastic seal is held in a sealed manner on the inner part
R
The inner part.5 of the rear spoiler I is connected to a transversely oriented retaining strip 10. for example via riveted j08 wherein water-tight screw connections a.re also possible. The inner part 5 preferably consists of a. plastics part. In particular, the retaining strip 10 is fastened to an upper side, of the tailgate frame 2, which runs transversely with respect to the vehicle.
