Abstract

A variable holder or holster 5 for a vibrator 3 allows the vibrating device to be mounted to a vertical or horizontal surface. The holster base 2 operates as a suction cup which enables attachment to a variety of flat surfaces. A shaft 4 is made of an elastic material which allows the vibrator 3 a swivelling and pivoting motion whilst still being attached to a surface. The upper body of the holster 5 is designed in such a way to allow variants of vibrator shapes and sizes to be used. Straps 1 may be provided to allow additional plastic deformation of the upper body of the holster 5 to increase the surface friction between the vibrator and holster which secures the vibrator within the holster. The holder 5 may have and opening that is optionally filed by an additional packing piece 3.

Description

1
Holster for a Vibrator
This invention relates to a device for mounting an existing vibrator or dildo to a horizontal or vertical surface for permitting hands free operation.
There is a number of suction devices on the market which form an entire unit which can be applied to a horizontal or vertical surface. However there is substantial evidence that the user takes preference to one unit which in most instances is used standalone and needs to be hand operated.
There is currently no "accessory" holster that can be used with an existing "favourite" unit when the mood takes and not as an unalterable modification. This holster can be used as an accessory easily and removed. It will also come at a lesser cost than buying a whole new unit which is constantly attached to a suction or holster device.
The holster, which can be mounted to any flat surface with its suction pad, allows most vibrators to be fixed within it, thus making the vibrator a device that does not need to be held by the user. This enables the user to engage more actively with their partner or can enhance the experience when used on one's own.
The holster allows a fast and easy attachment of most vibrators to a variety of surfaces.
The strap with geometry of the holster design means a large variety of vibrators can be used for this device.
The selection of a rubber such as PUR means that the device can be used in a wet, alkaline environment (such as a shower).
The invention will now be describes solely by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which:
Figure 1 is a top plan view of the device to fit a vibrator with no side mounted controls
Figure 2 is a side view of the device to fit a vibrator with no side mounted controls
Figure 3 is a top plan view of the device to fit a vibrator with side mounted controls
Figure 4 is a side view of the device to fit a vibrator with side mounted controls
Figure 5 is a sectional top view of the holster
Figure 6 is a sectional side view of the holster
Figure 7 is an exploded, isometric view of the device shown in Figure 1
Figure 8 is a top plan view of item 1 in Figure 7
Figure 9 is a front view of item 1 in Figure 7
Figure 10 is a side view of item 1 in Figure 7
Figure 11 is an isometric view of complete assembly with a vibrator
Figure 11 shows a vibrator with side controls mounted within the holster 5. This setup is shown in Figure 3. The straps 1 are tightened to decrease the inner diameter of the holster giving an increased surface friction between the holster and the vibrator.
The assembly is then mounted to a flat surface with the suction cup 2. The holster neck 4 is flexible which allows the vibrator to bend whilst still being attached to the flat surface. The lip 6 allows the vacuum of the suction cap to be broken and the holster to be removed easily from the flat surface.
Figure 1 shows the holster 2, strap 1 and with the packer 3. This packer is slotted in place for vibrators without side controls.
Figure 3 shows an alternate setup of the holster 2, strap 1 and without the packer. This is used for vibrators with side mounted controls.
Figure 7 shows an exploded view of the holster 2, strap 3 and packer 1.
Figure 11 shows an assembled example with the vibrator 3 mounted within the holster 5. The lip 6 allows the vacuum of the vacuum cup 2 to be broken. The holster neck 4 allows a flexible motion of the holster upper body.

Claims (5)

1. A holster for mounting a vibrator allows hands free operation of such device.
2. A holster according to claim 1, where flexibility of the holster neck is given, allows the vibrator to move without the holster loosing contact with the surface.
3. A suction cup integrated within the holster allows mounting on a variety of flat surfaces
4. A strap around the holster allows variable sizes of vibrators can be used
5. A packer, which can be added to give a circular geometry, allows vibrators without side controls to be mounted securely.
