Abstract

A mine clearance device, mountable in use on a vehicle such as a crane, comprises a body with plurality of fingers. The fingers are individually pivotable on the body and are, in use drawn across the ground in order to contact unexploded ordnance.

Description

TheHand Qescription The hand,is a dcvice,designeci to destroy,both,surrace mines,and also anti-personnel ouines,without incurring any dacnage,to the device itself.
It ma be,that the mobile crane,which pushes the device,may also need some form of protection,frop, any form of blast.this could be provided by fitting a heavy rubber skirt,to the-front of the.crane. ( this is jiot depicted, ).
Figure 1 on page.1 of 6 shows the device deployed.
