Description
I
ALL IN ONE PORTABLE TRANSFORMING BABY AIDS
This invention relates to an all in one portable transforming baby aid that is transformable between a baby crib, a play mat, a child's booster seat, cosy toes, baby booster feeding support and a béby carrier.
When a baby is born a parentlcarer needs many aids for their child. However, it can be very costly, space consuming and transporting these aids can cause many difficulties especially when travelling by public transport.
When staying with parents, friends or the like or when on holiday, quite often these aids are not available or are quite substandard.
Many cribs are cumbersome or heavy hr a women who has just given birth, yet a mother needs to transport her new baby and sometimes lives alone.
Correct positioning is vital fbr milk leeds, yet sometimes quite difficult.
Cleanliness is vital for a new baby to avoid infections where possible and vital when a baby suffers from skin disorders such as allergies. Mosquitoes, bees and the like can also be fatal to some babies.
The present invention proposes a solution for all these difficulties.
This invention is lightweight, easily cleaned, compact, cost effective and transportation is very easy for one parent/carer alone.
The invention is comfortable, relaxing and safe.
Accordingly the crib uses a swaddle style closure for a feeling of security and safety for the baby..
Swaddiing has been known since ancient times and its popularity is gaining again in recent times.
The present invention has a mobile attachment for stimulation ideally using a flexible plastic for easy coiling when placing in the transportation bag and ideally using bells as used for special needs children.
The crib is configured with the top side, bottom side, base and cushioning, when crib is being transported the booster pillow is inserted.
When the bottom side of the crib is removed the device can transform into a play mat for stimulating play. The play mat can then transform into a child's booster seat by using the base and topside in its folded configuration, very useful for mealtimes or the like by simply clipping onto a chair. The cosy toes coier can be used in conjunction with the booster pillow to be used as an extra boost to the child's seat.
When the top and bottom sides of the crib are removed the play mat and booster seat can easily transform into a cosy toes fbrplacing into a pushchair From the cosy toes the bab booster feeding pillow can then be easily constructed by simply placing the booster pillow inside the cosy toes, which is so handy when out and about with the baby for feeds.
Using the top side of the crib baby can be inserted into the baby bottom pocket and strapped around the adults waist with the straps.
The cushioning material from the base, ideally memory foam (RIM) can transform into a back support for the parent/carer. The top cover from the cosy toes can transform and be used with the baby carrier for the baby's legs and feet to be kept warm by simply strapping around the adults waist with the straps, before wearing, the topside, the bottom side of the crib can transform into a head support for the baby in conjunction wIth the topside.
When the devise is configured into a crib the baby bottom pocket can also be used as a pocket insulator for babys milk bottles.
The present invention can be made from different types of materials, for example, cotton, fleece or the like. Optionally, different materials can be used fbi different parts of the device.
Ideally, cotton or drill with interfacing for the base and ideally memory foam can be used for the cushioning. Ideafly hollow fibre can be used inside the booster pillow and ideally cotton or drill can be used for the top side in conjunction with wadding and interfacing and ideally wadding only can be used for the bottom side with a cotton or drill outer material.
Buttons can ideally be used to connect the top side and bottom side to the base, but any fastenings can be used.
Outer or inner pockets can be inserted to be used to hold a dummy, toy or the like. roy clips or straps can be used to prevent items dropping beyond reach while in use.
The present invention may conlbrm to a stylist shape such as a car or a flower or the like or may simply have a geometric shape such as a rectangle.
The invention wilt now be described solely by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which; Figure 1 Shows baby inside crib in assembled form ready for carrying.
