Description
Fitcase This invention relates to a luggage device that acts as a functional travel suitcase as well as providing the user with the ability to perform a number of muscle toning exercises.
In today's society people are travelling more and more frequently for both business and leisure.
There is a greater focus on the need for us to lead a healthy lifestyle through eating a balanced diet combined with regular exercise. Whilst it is relatively easy to eat healthily when travelling, it is not always easy to exercise sufficiently as equipment and resources are not often available.
This invention seeks to solve that problem. It has two functions. Firstly it acts as a regular travel suitcase fitting within the required dimensions for cabin luggage. Secondly it acts as a device that enables the user to conduct a number of fitness exercises from the comfort of their hotel room.
The invention has a number of features that assist the user in maintaining a balanced workout routine. These are - -Detachable handles with rotating sleeves -Built in resistance band -Detachable trolley system that doubles as an abdominal crunch bar The invention will now be described solely by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figure 1: Shows the proposed unit from the front Figure 2: Shows the proposed unit from the back Figure 3: Shows the proposed unit from side, Figure 4: Shows the proposed unit from the top Figure 5: Shows the proposed unit from the bottom Figure 6: Shows the detachable trolley system Figure]: Shows the detachable trolley system and how it is to be used Figure 8: Shows the detachable trolley system with extension bars extended Figures 9, 10 and 11: Show the built in resistance band and how it is to be used Figure 12: Shows an example exercise that can be performed using the detachable handles Figure 13: Shows the detachable handle with rotating sleeve Figure 14: Shows the inbuilt resistance band Figure 15: Shows an example exercise that can be conducted using the side handles Figure 16: Shows an example exercise that can be conducted using the top handle with rotating sleeve.
