Abstract
The invention relates to a system of using rockets for generating a wave which is used against tsunami wave d. The rockets may be deployed from the air or the ground a to the required location b. The number of generated waves and their strength are closely associated to the level and number of tsunamis waves. The system may comprise a tsunami Detector, a control System, a society alarm and a wave generator. The tsunami detector detects the tsunami wave and sends information to the controlling system. The control system analyzes received information and activates the society alarm system in order to inform the related organizations and local population. In addition, the control system activates the wave generators, which, using explosive materials create waves that counteract the tsunami wave and neutralize it.
Description
Spçification Title: "Nankali Anti-Tsunami System -(NATS)"
Background:
This invention is related to the protection of societies and environment against Tsunamis, applying a new method of providing a precise amount of explosive materials in an appropriate time and place to create alter wave energy for the interference act to neutralize the Tsunami waves.
It is common knowledge that tsunami is a series of waves that generate in sea or ocean as a result of dramatic water displacement, which is caused by different types of natural event such as: landslide, volcanic eruptions and earthquakes.
The main concern is that the tsunami wave can severely damage the environment, which leads to serious consequences including fatality and environmental pollution.
In the past decades, many attempts were made to fmd a suitable solution to protect our environment from the tsunamis complications. Thus, numerous different types of systems were suggested to deal with this issue; however, none of these systems were adequate to stop an aggressive wave entirely. Planting trees and water barriers like seawalls are some of the example of such methods that are installed and using against tsunami. Yet, these structures required a long period of time to construct beside of their large cost and limitations which do not allow them to work effectively when there is a forceful unpredicted wave.
Mother significant issue that needs to be pointed out is that in the situation when the wave passes these types of barriers, more dramatic damages could follow consecutively towards our societies.
In the last decade an idea using interference property of the waves to neutralize the tsunami wave was suggested, which is interesting and theoretically appropriate. The interference property already approved by physicists and it is used in many different cases. In this situation another wave(s) is generated to neutralise the tsunamis wave by using appropriate explosive material. Yet, there is an issue with suggested method and that is related to placing the explosive material under the water or on the sea bed. In fact, this issue made it impractical, because it is impossible to predict the place of event and the level of the force created by tsunamis waves. In other word, we should place huge amount of explosive materials in many different location to be able to provide adequate energy for creating a groups of wave against unpredictable tsunamis.
These serious reasons encourage scientists to continuing theft research in order to fmd an optimum solution against this particular type of natural disaster.
In this invention another method for using explosive materials to use the interference waves property in the required location is illustrated, which is unique in its way and has its own advantages.
Statement of invention:
The invention will now be described solely; The invention is based on a scientific method using wave energy against tsunami waves. In this situation explosive materials for generating another wave(s) to neutralise (weakening) the tsunamis wave using interference properties is suggested to shoot from air or on the ground to the required location (Figure 1).
The number of generated waves and theft strength are closely associated to the level and number of tsunamis waves.
This system can have 4 key components as follows: 1-Tsunami Detector 2-Controlling Systems 3-Society Alarm 4-Wave Generators
The description of the components:
1-Tsunami Detector: this is a part of system that already exists in our industry and detects the tsunami wave as far as its direction and force.
2-Controlling Systems: this is a part of system that distributes the required information, calculating the level and position of wave(s) for generating 3-Society Alarm: this a part of system that warns local population and related organizations of the event occurrence 4-. Wave Generators: this is a part of system that has its own components depending on the locations, environment and nationallintemational policies and the main component is a shooter The system's work can be explained as follows; Tsunami Detectors identify the tsunami wave. The gathered information by Tsunami Detector will then be passed to the Controlling System. Information included the origin of the tsunami wave, wave direction, wave speed, its force level and other required details at the time.
The Controlling System analyzes the initial gathered information from the Tsunami Detector and might follows the next steps.
First step: Immediately informing the population under severe risk of being affected using various methods.
Second step: detect the Wave Generators that are required to generate waves against the particular tsunami wave.
Third step: Pass all required information to the Wave Generators' stations/platforms for their actions.
Society Alarm receives information from the Controlling System and immediately alarms the people under risk of being affected via various types of warning systems. The warning will also be abruptly passed to organizations such as the Government, hospitals, fire stations, radio stations and police, in order to prepare for the events consequences.
Part of information will transfer to the Wave Generators to being generating waves start obstructing (interference) the tsunami waves. Wave Generators are based upon using explosive materials, which can create huge amount of force, Wave Generators are designed for installation of specific types of devices reminiscent of guns or shooters based on safe platforms. These devices are able to target different locations and shoot adequate types of explosive materials according to the gathered information by the Controlling System.
Wave Generators are flexible system due to its installation method and preciseness in targeting the incoming tsunami wave. In this situation, the device will shoot single or multiple numbers of explosive materials in the targeted area.
The explosion will create the required wave(s). The created wave will commence to interfere with the tsunami wave and therefore neutralization (weakening) of these waves will take place, essentially if the two waves differ slightly in frequency. Since a tsunami wave can be very aggressive, repetition of creating waves with different frequencies are recommended, as the tsunami wave will be partly neutralized each time and it does not need the same amount of force to be interfered.
The relation of places between the tsunami wave and explosion can vary and it depends on the tsunami wave location and force, therefore, the detonation can take place in three possible locations, specifically behind, front, of the wave or wave itself.
This system can work in congestion with other systems.
Figure 1 illustrates two groups of waves (a and b) with different force levels and direction that are interfering to each other.
Figure 2 shows an example of Model one Wave Generator: a) Platform for the device, b) sea level, c) Seabed, d) Tsunami wave Figure 3 shows schematically an example of group of pictures how two or more waves interfere with the tsunami wave using model one (Ml): A-Shooting the explosive materials; a) platform, b) shot exploded material, c) tsunami wave, B-Ignition of explosive materials; e) detonation of explosive materials, f) the new created wave, C-repetition of creating wave against the other tsunami and waves; g) created new waves as a result of repetition of explosions, h) detonation of explosive materials, D-interference of the waves; i) interfering with the created waves via Wave Generator, j) interfering the tsunami wave with the created wave by Wave Generator Advantages of the invention: This system can work in congestion with other systems.
The Nankali Anti-Tsunami System (NATS) is switched to work very fast There are a variety of places which are suitable for this system There is no considerable change in the environment for the installation of this device The system start to work mainly at the required time Many essential parts of this system are already invented which are approved with a high level of efficiency for this type of usage The system is planned in such a way for easy repair or removing methods The system is flexible for different types of required forces The system does not require huge amount of space The system does not require any specific ecological condition.
The system can be installed very fast It is possible to use mobile stations for Wave Generators
