DeLailed Description
Please refer to FIGS. 1 through 2. The child safety seat of the invention includes a seat 101 and a supporting device 102. The seat 101 of an embodiment according to the invention includes achildcarrier l0laandabase lOlb. The childcarrier lOla and the base lOlb are engaged in a detachable way. The supporting device 102 is installed in a rear bottom of the base lOlb and includes a supporting shaft 1, a supporting foot 2, and a supporting mount 3. In practice, the supporting shaft 1 can be connected to the supporting mount 3 in an extensible way. An end of the supporting shaft 1 is connected to the supporting foot 2 fixedly. The supporting foot 2 includes a supporting base 21, a push button 22, an elastic member (embodied by compression spring 23 in the present embodiment), and an anti-slide pad 24.
Please refer to FIG. 3. The supporting base 21 includes an installation mount 211, a connection part 212, and an adjustment button 213. The connection part 212 has an opening 212a form on a side thereof and holes 212b formed on a top surface thereof and is installed on the installation mount 211. The supporting shaft 1 has a slot 11 at an end thereof.
The supporting shaft 1 passes through the connection part 212 by the end and extends into the installation mount 211. An end of the adjustment button 213 is installed in the slot 11.
The adjustment button 213 has two hooks 213a at two opposite sides thereof. The hooks 2l3a urged against the inner sidewall of the connection part 212. The adjustment button 213, the connection part 212, and the supporting shaft 1 are therefore connected fixedly, so that the adjustment button 213 can drive an adjustment mechanism in the supporting shaft 1 to adjust the length of the supporting shaft 1.
Please refer to FIGS. 4 through 6. A bottom of the installation mount 211 is dented to form an accommodation room 211a and extends to form two guiding plates 2llb with an arc edge 211d from two sides thereof. The push button 22 includes a contact portion 221 and two indication portions 222 bending and extending upward In a curve from two sides of the contact portion 221 respectively. The indication portion 222 can be formed in a strip in practice. The contact portion 221 is accommodated in the accommodation room 211a and protrudes from the bottom of the installation mount 211 at a natural state.
The Indication portion 222 is disposed along the arc edge 211d of the guiding plate 211b. An end of the compression spring 23 is urged against the supporting shaft 1; another end of the compression spring 23 is urged against an inner surface of the contact portion 221.
The indication portion 222 thereon has a warning indication 222a and a safety indication 222b in different colors. The warning indication 222a and the safety indication 222b are realized by transfer printing in order on an end of the indication portion 222 in practice. For example, the warning indication 222a is red; the safety indication 222b is green.
When the contact portion 221 is at a natural state, the warning indication 222a is exposed from the hole 212b. The push button 22 protrudes out of the installation mount 211 such that when the installation mount 211 contacts a supporting surface, the push button 22 is capable of being retracted into the installation mount 211 so as to move the indication portion 222. The warning indication 222a therefore moves out of the hole 212b; the safety indication 222b moves to be exposed from the hole 212b to inform a user the supporting foot 21 has contacted the supporting surface rightly.
In addition, in practice, the guiding plate 211b thereon forms an indentation 211c. An end of the indication portion 222 extends downward to form a retainer tab 222c. The retainer tab 222c is disposed in the indentation 211c. When the installation mount 211 is departed from the supporting surface, the compression spring 23 pushes the contact portion 221 out of the bottom surface of the installation mount 211 so that the indication portion 222 moves. When the safety indication 222b moves out of the hole 212b, and the warning indication 222a moves to be exposed from the hole 212b, the retainer tab 222 contacts a sidewali of the indentation 211c so as to prevent the push button 22 from escaping from the installation mount 211.
The anti-slide pad 24 is installed on a bottom surface of the installation mount 211. The friction area between the anti-slide pad 24 and the supporting surface can be increased, which can prevent sliding between the supporting foot 2 and the supporting surface for enhancing the safety of the child safety seat 100.
Please refer to FIG. 7 and FIG. 8 and based on the above description as well. Before the supporting device 102 contacts the supporting surface, the compression spring 23 pushes the contact portion 221 of the push button 22 out of the installation mount 211. Besides, the retainer tab 222c is urged against the sidewall of the indentation 211c, which interacts with the compression spring 23 so as to make the push button 22 fixed. The warning indication 222a on the indication portion 222 of the push button 22 is exposed from the hole 212b and shows red for reminding the user that the supporting device 102 does not contact the supporting surface well; that is, the child safety seat 100 is not supported rightly. When the installation mount 211 contacts the supporting surface completely, the push button 22 is pushed into the accommodation room 211a. Besides, the indication portion 222 moves along the arc edge 211d of the guiding plate 211b, so that the warning indication 222a moves out of the hole 212b and the safety indication 222b therefore moves to be exposed from the hole 212b and shows green. Moreover, the compression spring 23 is also compressed. At this moment, the user is reminded that the supporting device 102 contacts the supporting surface completely and the child safety seat 100 is supported well. Once the installation mount 211 is departed from the supporting surface again, the contact portion 221 will protrude out of the bottom surface of the installation mount 211 because of the resilience effect by the compression spring 23. The contact portion 221 drives the indication portion 222 to move so that the warning indication 222a shows red through the hole 2l2b reminding the user that the supporting device 102 is not supported rightly.
In the supporting device of the invention, the push button 22 is installed on the bottom of the supporting base 21. The compression spring 23 is disposed between the supporting shaft 1 and the push button 22. The supporting base 21 has holes 212b corresponding to the indication portions 222 of the push button 22. Therefore, when the supporting base 21 contacts the supporting surface, and the push button 22 is retracted into the supporting base 21, the safety indication 222b is shown through the hole 212b. Besides, when the supporting base 21 is not supported on the supporting surface rightly, the push button 22 protrudes out of the supporting base 21 30 that the warning indication 222a is shown through the hole 212b.
During the above process of changing use statuses, by utilizing the alternatively displaying of the indications due to the compression spring 23, the user is reminded whether the supporting foot 2 is supported rightly, which guarantees the supporting effect of the supporting foot 2 SO as to ensure the safety of the child in the seat. Furthermore, the structure therefor is simple and applicable.
