248,959. Stent, T. F., and Edison Swan Electric Co., Ltd. May 7, 1925. Adding &c. apparatus.-A device for use in conjunction with electrical oscillatory circuits comprises a pair of relatively movable scales, one of which is graduated in wave-lengths, frequencies, &c., and the other is graduated to correspond with the scale of the tuning device with which it is to be used. As shown the device comprises a rotatable card 1 and a base 2; the card is marked in degrees in accordance with the scale on the dial of the variable condenser in the oscillatory circuit, and the base 2 has radial lines 3 and 4 representing wave lengths and the names and call signs of transmitting stations respectively. In a circuit comprising two tuning units a second set of graduations 5, 6 may be provided on the base 2.
