Abstract

A vehicle for the transport of a child having a chassis comprising a central pole with two child's foot rests, two wheels attached to the chassis, a first T-shaped handle for the child to grasp when stood on the foot rests and a second handle for an adult's use in pulling the vehicle to transport the child. The height of both of the handles may be adjusted for different users, and the cart or trolley may be collapsed to a storage configuration for transport in a bag. The central chassis pole may be telescopic, and the wheels may be hingedly attached thereto. The childâ s foot rests may comprise a platform with mesh pockets for retaining the feet in place.

Description

The FroL The Frog is a lightweight, extendable, easy to assemble, one handed pulling toddler transport system.
The Frog's structure is made from one centre extendable aluminium pole that is connected to a t-bar two small wheeled base and a t-bar pulling handle at the top.
From the centre pole there is a bracketed fold out handlebar and two enclosed foot stands.
The Frog is easy to carry and is so compact it is stored in its own Frog carrying bag, made from nylon.
The Frog is ideal for parents and carers of small children of toddler age. The Frog is ideally used for I8month to three-year-old children whereby the stroller/ buggy is no longer necessary.
The safe, easy, controllable Frog equipment enables a parent/ carer to transport their toddler with tired legs! The child hops on' the enclosed foot stands and holds onto the lock in place handlebars to enable a fun way of finishing the rest of the walking journey.
The Frog is ideal for busy parents on the school run and who need their little ones to be able to keep up with their pace! The Frog prevents parents/carers carrying their toddler a distance to cause aching arms/backs, it saves time when little legs are not travelling fast enough, and it encourages the child's balance and posture as well as being fun for all! The Frog carrier enables parents to have free hands but to have the back up of a transporting system!

Claims (11)

  1. CLAIMS: 1. A vehicle for the transport of a child, the vehicle comprising: * a chassis having two child's foot rests; * two wheels rotatably connected to outer ends of the chassis; * a first Lshaped handle connected to the chassis for a child to grip when stood on the foot rests; and * a second handle connected to the chassis for an adult's use in pulling the vehicle to transport the child.
  2. 2. A vehicle as claimed in claim 1 wherein the chassis is a beam.
  3. 3. A vehicle as claimed in claim 2 wherein the chassis beam is telescopic.
  4. 4. A vehicle as claimed in any preceding claim wherein the axels for the wheels are hingedly connected to the chassis.
  5. 5. A vehicle as claimed in any preceding claim wherein the wheels are removably connected to the chassis.
  6. 6. A vehicle as claimed in any preceding claim wherein the second handle is removably connected to the chassis.
  7. 7. A vehicle as claimed in any preceding claim wherein the first handle is telescopically connected to the second handle.
  8. 8. A vehicle as claimed in claim 7 wherein a support beam is hingedly connected to the second handle, the outer end of the support beam being attachable to the chassis at a variety of positions.
  9. 9. A vehicle as claimed in any preceding claim wherein the child's foot rests comprise: A platform for the sole of the child's foot and * means for securing the foot of the child to the platform.
  10. 10. A vehicle as claimed in claim 9 wherein the means for securing the child's foot to the platform is a mesh pocket.
