Abstract

The vice is a conventional metal vice with the facility of being able to hold irregular or angular shaped objects by means of allowing an advancing jaw to swivel left or right on a vertical round axis. The advancing jaw includes a vertical hole bored through the middle to allow the jaw to move clockwise or anti-clockwise.

Description

DESCRIPTION
The enclosed invention comprises of a conventional bench vice with hopefully the advantage of "gripping" irregular or "angular" shapes. By way of having one of its jaws on a vertical axis. Thus allowing the "jaw" to turn on the vertical axis and accomodate whatever angle is needed. The vertical axis is situated, right through the "centre" of the "advancing" jaw.
Adjacent to the vice handle. The base of the axis, is attached to a solid square block, which is situated, next to the vice handle. And can be screwed forward or backwards. As in the case of a conventional vice. The {vice jaw} on the axis could be lifted on or off, if required.
