Abstract

Heating and cooking vessels.-A meat press is provided with an accessory device which enables the pressed meat to be coated with jelly. As shown in Fig. 2, the device comprises a liner 1 which fits within and is spaced from the meat press wall 2, and the plunger 4 is adapted to slide within the liner 1. The liner has a flange of rim 1<a> which spaces it from the wall 2, the flange being preferably in the form of a gutter to collect overflowing fat. After the meat is pressed, the liner 1 is removed by the handles 5 and jelly is poured into the space between the meat and the wall 2. The jellied meat may be removed by raising the false bottom 6 in the usual manner. In a modification, the liner 1 is flanged at the top and bottom edges.
