Description

"READ Wifil ME"
Introduction
The invention relates to a reading aid to allow a person to be able to read and Follow the words on the line they are reading from. It helps the person to Concentrate on the line that they are hying to read and focus only, on this line of Words. It stops the person from jumping from one line up or down from the line They aresupposed to be reading from.
At present, people learning to read from a book are looking at a white background With black print. Many people have difficulties doing this. People who have Dyslexia and other reading problems, find it very difficult to stay and focus on the Line that they are reading from. All the print becomes a blur to them. Whether They are using a finger to try and follow the word or not.
This reading aid will have a large window cut out in the centre of it. In here the person will frame the line in his/her reader into it. As they conic to the end of The line, they push it down gently with their left and right hand forefingers which will fit into the groove in the reading aid. This gives him/her control of the reading aid to bring it down line by line and so on. This reading aid allows the person to 2. () focus only on the line that they are reading from. The colour of the reading aid can be one of numerous colours eg. red, yellow, green, pink or blue, black.
These colours will help the person to focus on the line that they are trying to read from. It will frame the line that the person is reading. This reading aid will be plain on the side that they are reading from. The only thing printed on this side will be the 2. patent/logo (drawing of a happy face, Waving). This is because the person will not have a chance of being Distracted.
On the reverse side the child can use it as a normal ruler for class with Inches and centimetres printed on it. (Drawing I and 2 attached).
This invention is therefore, going to give huge confidence in the person which they 3) didn't have before. It will improve their reading within months where before they thought their reading would never improve because they were sure that this was not possible.
This reading aid could be used by all children/adults learning to read for the first time. When they are confident enough, and have practiced using it for a time, they will be able to focus on the line of reading without it eventually and will have the confidence to feel they don't need to use it as much as they did initially.
