Feedwater, heating.-An economizer is constructed of ribbed tubes 1 having a bend 3 at each end with flanges 4 so that two adjacent tubes can be connected directly with one another. Intermediate flanges 2, either alone or in conjunction with frame-plates, may form the side closing walls of the economizer. Specification 21017/99 is referred to.
