Abstract

A multiple glazing kit comprises an elongate lead strip 15 which has an integral, laterally extending web 19 therealong. The kit further comprises a plurality of glass panes 3, 5, 9 and waterproof tape for sealing at least two panes in a multiple glazing unit and waterproof tape (35 Fig. 4) for securing the lead strip around the edges of the unit. The elongate strip may be T shaped with the web forming the leg of the T. At least one of the arms of the T shape may be provided with weakened sections 23 to allow the arm to be trimmed to a desired length. Also claimed is the elongate lead strip on its own and a method of installing multiple glazing in a stone window frame using the lead strip.
