Abstract

A portable, hand held scanner and viewer for film pieces or dial. The device has a slide bar (7) for holding film (73) with images, and this bar may be inserted into the device. Pictures are displayed on a liquid crystal display (LCD) or thin film transistor (TFT) screen (221) that is placed in a folding cover (22). Folding cover with screen acts as a protective lid above buttons. Output may be by wire for television (TV) or to a flash memory card.

Through a singLe machine, by its internal backligln mechanism combined with the picture-taking lens and under simple operatIons, the Images on the tUrns are transformed into dIgItIzing data rapidly by its image-processing device. And, it is set with a memory card for scoring the digitizing data dintotly. Jr is further combined with the hidden typed image disptayin screen for the benefit of direct image modi1iing or editing and can prevent the dispLaying screen from being damaged.

And, the image-displaying screen in the machine body can he used to proceed a prompt editIng arid modil'ing of the image data. It thus provides a more convenient and practical $ lkmction. Furthermore, the imagedIsplaying screen in the machine body and control buttons are hidden and covered by the cover plate while not being used. It thus can achieve the effects protecting the displaying screen from being damaged and prevent the beIng mistakenly toucbed.
And, opening and closing the cover plait are meant also a power on and power ufi' Ibnctions tbr the maIn tnachin&s power. The above tire all confbrmed to the condtions of improving effect in patents. and wo thus lIlt the application according to the law.
