Inductances. - The cores of inductance coils for use in telegraphy and telephony by highfrequency oscillations are formed of wire of a nickel-iron alloy and having a diameter of less than <1>/10 mm. The alloy used preferably contains about 80 per cent nickel and 20 per cent iron.
