Abstract

This invention solves the problem of reaching to the top shelf of a high cupboard and is primarily for use with standard kitchen cupboards but would be suitable for any cupboard that has a void at floor level. The invention comprises a step made to fit under a standard kitchen cupboard unit or any cupboard with a void under it at floor level. The step has side runners and wheels underneath enabling it to be slid out easily. The step is located within a box inside the cupboard and has catches that slide the step out when the step is pushed from the front. An additional spring inside the box at the rear will assist the step to its usable position. The unit can be closed by pushing it back in with a foot.

Description
Underste It is a step which would be situated under a cupboard, in a void. When activated by a persons foot it will extend out from under the cupboard and will then be ready to stand on to lift a person the height of the step. It would be permanently fixed in place.
