Abstract

A hair washing tray that allows a person to have their hair washed backwards, the tray is adapted to be detachably attach to the edge of a sink or basin, and has means to support the neck of the person having their hair washed. Preferably the tray has two malleable clamps 3 made from rubber coated wire that are attached to the sides of the tray. The tray may have a cushioned `U-shaped neck support 1.

Description
Title: Portable Back-Wash Attachment.
A portable back-wash attachment for use in hairdressing, consisting of a tray moulded in plastic with rubber covered wire clamps attached to the side of the unit, these clamps attach to the side of the sink or basin. The clamps are firm but malleable for safety of use. There is also a "U" shaped neck rest with cushioned rubber for comfort. The wire covered rubber clamps are adjustable to fit any width or shape of basin or sink. This appliance serves people who have poor mobility.
e.g. elderly, infirm, post operative situations and children, thus enabling use in any environment such as hospitals and care homes where back-washing would be difficult or discomforting. Key.

Claims (3)

  1. Claims.1. A portable back-wash attachment comprising of a plastic moulded tray for means of attaching the unit to any variable size of sink or basin using two rubber covered wire clamps at each side with bar support and rubber cushioned neck support.
  2. 2. A portable back-wash attachment unit according to claim 1. in which the moulded plastic tray is supported and attached to any basin or sink by two rubber covered wire clamps re-enforced by a bar axel which enables the tray to be adjusted to fit any size or width of basin or sink.
  3. 3. A portable back-wash attachment according to claim 1. in which the means are provided for neck support by a rubber cushioned rim edge passes through plastic moulded tray.
