Abstract
A food storage chiller unit includes individual small containers 1 which is placed in a tray 5 with individual partitions to place the individual small containers 1. Each small container 1 is provided with a lid 2 to prevent spillage of a freezable substance. The small individual containers 1 also have a press push base round button underneath 4 which when pushed forces the freezable substance upwards, and a dent 3 on both sides of the container to achieve a good grip for easy removal of small container 1 and freezable substance. Tray 5 is attached with handles 6 on both ends of the partition tray 1 for easy removal from food chiller unit. The partition tray 5 is inserted into the food storage chiller unit 7 for preservative and storage purposes. The freezable substance may be food.
Description
FOOD STORAGE CHILLER
This invention relates to a food storage chiller system.
Normally when people cook they tend to store cooked food or gravy in a bowl storage container, which is then stored in a freezer for preservative purposes. This conventional method of preserving food tends lead to a number of difficulties.
If one desires to take a portion of food from the storage container that has been frozen in the freezer; it is normally difficult. This is so because the food has become frozen, one tends to use a kitchen utensil such as a knife to pierce the frozen food to take the desired amount. Whereby damaging the storage container and also leaving particles of metal in the food and also disfiguring portions of meat that is sometimes cooked together with the sauce. This does not look presentable for consumption. Defrosting frozen sauces can take up to at least 24 hours. Taking desire amount from the defrosted food and re-freeze thawed sauce is unhealthy, due to a build up of bacteria which can lead to food poisoning. Furthermore thaw food or sauces have a tendency of separating the watery part of the gravy from the thickness of gravy. In other words the liquid tends to settle at the bottom and the thickness at the top of the storage container. In most cases the liquid part of the gravy has a tendency to go sour.
To overcome this, the present invention proposes a food storage chiller system. This invention will allow separate portions to be stored individually. The food storage chiller will consist of a tray with fitted small partition containers to store separate portions of gravy or sauce with a fitted lid to stop spillages. Consequently each small partition of the tray storage can be removed, washed, and kept in a safe place for use again.
The benefits of the food storage chiller is that alter cooking a large amount of sauce, gravy or stew for the week, users will be able to store sauces in each of the small segment container. To do this users can remove the portion size contain from the main tray fill it up with gravy or sauces. These individual containers filled with sauce or gravy will then be inserted back into the tray. Final the tray subsequently placed into the chiller unit to lower temperature. Similarly when the frozen substance in the containers is needed the main tray will be removed from the food storage chiller system. After words removing portion size container from main tray by pressing round button underneath and holding the side dent on both side of the small container to achieve a good grip. Subsequently placing the main tray with the individual portion containers into the food storage chiller unit system.
The invention will now be described solely by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figure 1 shows small container fitted into the partition tray with handles on both ends of the tray.
Figure 2 shows a small individual container with, a side dent on both side and a lid.
Figure 3 show also a small individual container with a round button underneath Figure 4 shows a food storage chiller system. *
In figure 1, a numbers of partition small containers I are attached to a partition tray 5.
Tray 5 has individual partitions to store portion containers 1. Partition Tray 5 is fitted with handles 6 on both ends of the tray 5 for easy removal from food chiller unit.
In figure 2 small individual container I has a side dent 3 on both sides for holding the containers for easy removal of small container 1 and a fitted lid 2 to prevent spillage of the freezable substance.
In figure 3 the small individual containers 1 also has a press push base round button underneath 4 which pushes the small container upwards, to achieve a good grip for easy removal of small container 1.
In figure 4, a food chiller unit system 7 is where the tray 5 will be inserted for preservative and storage purposes.
Claims (5)
- Claims 1. A food storage chiller system unit that allows separate portions to be stored individually, the system comprising: Tray has individual partitions to store portion containers; Individual containers with lids, sides dent, press push base round button underneath and; A partition tray with handles.
- 2. A food storage chiller unit system according to claim 1 in which the main tray has individual segments to store container.A food storage chiller system unit according to claim 1 has individual container with lid to prevent spillages, a press push round button underneath which pushes the small container upwards and a dent on both side of the small container to achieve a good grip for easy removal of small container.
- 3. A food storage chiller system unit according to claim 1 has a partition tray with handles on both ends of the tray to make it easier to remove the tray from the chiller unit.
- 4. A food storage chiller system unit according to claim 2 the individual container filled with sauce or gravy will then be inserted back into the main tray with individual sections.
- 5. A food storage chiller system unit according to claim 5 partition trays subsequently placed into the chiller unit for preservative and storage purposes.
