Abstract

A decorated gift envelope 1 comprises a pre-cut, pre-assembled and partially sealed recycled paper envelope 7, having a gift tag 2, ribbon 5 and a pre-printed pattern design 3. The packaging is sealed on three sides 4, allowing a gift to be inserted before the fourth side is sealed using the adhesive supplied on the closure flap 6. The packaging may come in a variety of sizes and be decorated with a selection of designs and patterns.

Description
Title Pre-assembled Decorated Gift Packaging Problem? Sometimes wrapping a gift can be difficult. It can be difficult to have the time or skills required to wrap a gift aesthetically. Furthermore you don't always have all the necessary equipment to hand, required to wrap a gift using traditional methods i.e wrapping paper, scissors, sticky tape, gift tag etc. The storage of the leftover giftwrap can be troublesome e.g. long rolls of half-used giftwrap, which don't stack easily.
How this product overcomes it? This product is a decorated envelope for gifts, with a blank gift tag and ribbon design incorporated into the printed design on recycled paper 7. It is already sealed on 3 sides, allowing the gift to simply be inserted before the fourth side is sealed using the adhesive already applied to the flap 6, thus not requiring the use of additional sticky tape and making it a quicker system than other products available This invention will be produced in a variety of sizes and be decorated with a selection of different designslpatterns.
An example of the invention will be described by referring to Figure 1, which shows the common features of this product i.e. the net shape 1, the pre-printed blank tag 2, a sample of a pre-printed pattern 3, the positioning of the adhesive 4 and a sample of the pre-printed ribbon design 5.
Figure 2 illustrates the finished pre-assembled and partially-sealed (on 3 sides) product shape.
This product provides the user with the speed and ease of simply inserting the gift into a pre-decorated and pre-assmbled envelope, which once sealed mimics a wrapped gift.
The envelopes are made from recycled paper 7 thus helping the environment.
This product provides a quick and easy way to wrap a gift without requiring the use of sticky tape and scissors. Furthermore there is no need to purchase a separate gift tag or ribbon, as these are already incorporated into the design. This product is easier to store than large bulky rolls of giftwrap, as it is already assembled thus making it smaller in size and stackable.

Claims (3)

  1. Claims Title Pre-assembled Decorated Gift Packaging 1 Pre-assembled and partially-sealed decorated recycled paper gift envelope with a blank gift tag and ribbon design incorporated into the printed design.
  2. 2. Decorated gift envelope according to claim 1, which consists of a pre-cut, pre-assembled and partially-sealed recycled paper gift envelope with varying decorative designs and of varying sizes.
  3. 3. A partially-sealed gift envelope according to claim, which is sealed using the adhesive on the flap after a gift has been inserted.
