Description

Multiple Serving Health Nutrition Shaker-Bottle Assembly The invention relates to a health nutrition shaker-bottle assembly which incoporates separate containers that store portions of unmixed healtWsports nutrition powder.
A majority of health/sports nutrition supplements are sold in powdered form, usually as bulk in large containers. These products require some form of mixing with a liquid to create the desired nutritional beverage prior to consumption. Purposely designed nutrition shaker- bottles are used by many people to blend their nutrition supplements with a chosen liquid, these bottle are often referred to as protein shaker bottles or shakers. These shaker-bottles provide a low cost and logistical advantage over using conventional electric blenders, especially when away from home. Shaker-bottles are used by placing the required portion of a supplement, for example protein powder into the shaker-bottle in conjuction with a desired amount of liquid, closing the bottle and then shaking by hand; the protein beverage is then consumed directly from the bottle, eliminating the need for drinking cups.
However nutrition shaker bottles often do not seal very well, therefore the nutritional beverage is usually mixed at the time of drinking and not prepared in advance because of the fear of the beverage solution leaking whilst in transit. As mentioned, health/sports nutrition supplements are usually sold to consumers in large containers, so for convenience the required portion of powder is often placed into the nutrition shaker-bottle in advance and when the user requires the drink they can add the liquid; in this scenario the user may need to carry a seperate bottle containing the liquid or source it locally.
Another major problem is that a consumer of this type of product requires multiple portions of nutrition supplement throughout the day, usually whilst away from home. The user would then need to carry with them the original supplement container, which may be quite large or an additional container with the required portions separately, then mix into the nutrition shaker-bottle as and when required. It may not be convenient to carry these large or multiple items around or store them at work or the gym etc. The present invention proposes a specifically designed health nutrition shaker-bottle assembly, comprising of various parts including a mixing-drinking section, a lid and multiple nutrition storage containers for storing portions of unmixed nutrition powder; this will eliminate the need to carry any additional containers which do not form part of the health nutrition shaker-bottle assembly.
These removable nutrition storage container(s) can carry the required portion(s); a portion can be tipped into the mixing-drinking section of the shaker-bottle assembly to mix with a liquid by shaking the bottle as and when required.
Preferably, the health nutrition shaker-bottle assembly will consist of at least two nutrition storage containers that attach to shaker-bottle assembly; this should store at least two portions of nutrition powder.
Preferably, a mixing grill will be provided within the mixing-drinking section to aid the mixing of the nutrition powder with the liquid.
Preferably, the lid will embody a drinking orifice, such as a spout so that the contents inside the mixing-drinking section can be consumed without removing the lid from the mixing-drinking section.
Preferably, additional sealing aids such as 0-rings, rubber seals or similar devices will be incorporated to help create a fluid tight seal within the health nutrition shaker-bottle assembly. Therefore a single liquid or a premixed solution can be stored and transported in the mixing-drinking section of the bottle assembly without the fear of leaking.
Preferably, markings on the health nutrition shaker-bottle assembly will indicate the volume of the contents contained.
Preferably, the health nutrition shaker-bottle assembly will carry any required logos or trademarks required.
An example of the invention will now be described by referring to the accompanying drawings: Figure 1 shows a health nutrition shaker-bottle assembly configured for a nutrition storage container(s) to attach underneath the mixing-drinking section. The nutrition storage container(s) are protected by the external shell of the mixing-drinking section.
Figure 2 shows an alternative view of the health nutrition shaker-bottle assembly seen in figure 1.
Figure 3 shows a health nutrition shaker-bottle assembly configured for nutrition storage container(s) to attach underneath the mixing-drinking section and/or to be located within the mixing-drinking section.
Figure 4 shows a health nutrition shaker-bottle assembly configured for a nutrition storage container(s) to attach underneath the mixing-drinking section.
In figure 1, a removable nutrition storage container 4 attaches to the mixing-drinking section 3. Nutrition storage container 4 can be stacked allowing storage of multiple portions, figure 1 shows an arrangement of two nutrition storage containers attached to the health nutrition shaker-bottle assembly protected by the skirt of the mixing-drinking section 3. The removable lid 2 secures to the mixing-drinking section 3. The removable lid 2 embodies a seal 4 and a removable cap feature 7. A removable mixing grill 6 is located inside the mixing-drinking section 3.
Nutrition storage container 4 stores the required portion of a nutrition powder. Nutrition storage container 4 would be detached from the health nutrition shaker-bottle assembly for its contents to be transferred into main mixing-drinking 3; nutrition storage container 4 can then be reattached to its relevant location.
Ingredients are placed into the mixing-drinking section 3 by removing lid 2 and if necessary mixing grill 6. These parts can then be re-attached and the health nutrition shaker-bottle assembly can be shaken by the user in order to mix the relevant ingredients.
The mixture can be consumed via an orifice formed onto lid 2 by temporarily removing cap 7.
Figure 3 shows an alternative embodiment in which a removable nutrition storage container 8 is also located inside the mixing-drinking section.
Figure 4 shows a further alternative embodiment in which the nutrition storage containers 4 still attach to the mixing_drinking section 3, however without being protected by the external shell of the mixing-drinking section 3.
