DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS
Referring to FIGS. 1 to 9, upper and lower hinges for a glass door, of the present invention, include an upper hinge 1, which is provided with a fixing seat 11 and a turntable 12, wherein the fixing seat 11 is provided with a plurality of positioning holes 111 that can be locked and connected with a wall (not shown in the drawings) or other proper part by screwing members 4, the fixing seat 11 is provided with a pivot slot 112, and the turntable 12 is also provided with a pivot slot 121; a lower hinge 3, which is provided with a fixing seat 31 and a turntable 32, with the turntable 32 being further provided with a pivot slot 321, wherein the fixing seat 31 is protruded upward with a ring block 313, a center of the ring block 313 is provided with a pivot slot 312, the ring block 313 is provided with an annular slot 3131 for installing a bearing 3132, a ring member 314 that is connected at a lower circumference of the ring block 313 of the fixing seat 31 is provided with a plurality of positioning holes 3141 for connection with a ground, the aforementioned turntable 32 is provided with an annular groove 323 (as shown in FIG. 3) and forms a ring member 324 at an outer circumference of the annular groove 323 in association with the ring block 313 of the aforementioned fixing seat 31, whereas the annular groove 323 provides for pivoting with the ring block 313 of the fixing seat 31, such that the turntable 32 can be pivoted at the fixing seat 31 by the annular groove 323, and a gap can be formed between a lower end surface of the ring member 324 of the turntable 32 and an upper end surface of the ring member 314 of the fixing seat 31, thereby providing a better water-proof effect correspondingly, due to that the ring block 313 of the fixing seat 31 of the lower hinge 3 is pivoted into the annular groove 323 of the turntable 32; and two positioning members 2, each of the two positioning members 2 is provided with a pivot 21 that can be transfixed respectively into the pivot slots 121, 321 of the turntables 12, 32 of the upper and lower hinges 1, 3, and can be pivoted respectively with the pivot slots 112, 312 of the fixing seats 11, 31 of the upper and lower hinges 1, 3, whereas the two positioning members 2 are locked and connected at proper locations of upper and lower parts at one side of a glass door 6 (as shown in FIG. 4) by a plurality of screwing members 5, respectively.
Moreover, the pivots 21 of the aforementioned two positioning members 2 are provided respectively with an annular recess 211 for sheathing with an elastic member 8 which has a notch. Referring to FIG. 4 and FIG. 5, the aforementioned pivot slot 112 of the fixing seat 11 of the upper hinge I is provided with a smaller-diameter part 1121 in an inner side, and a cone slot 1122 that is next to the smaller-diameter part 1121 and extends outward to have a gradually larger diameter.
Therefore, when the positioning member 2 is pivoted into the pivot slot 112 of the fixing seat 11 with the pivot 21, and when the elastic member 8, which is sheathed into the annular recess 211 of the pivot 21 of the positioning member 2, passes through the smaller-diameter part 1121 of the pivot slot 112, the elastic member 8 can squeeze toward an interior of the annular recess 211 to pass through the smaller- diameter part 1121 successfully. Whereas, after the elastic member 8 passes through the smaller-diameter part 1121, the elastic member 8 will be expanded outward to be abutted at the cone slot 1122 of the pivot slot 112 (as shown in FIG. 6), by its elastic restoring force, thereby preventing the elastic member 8, along with the pivot 21, to escape from the pivot slot 112. On the other hand, when the fixing seat 11 is to be dismantled and separated, force is exerted downward to the positioning member 2, allowing the elastic member 8 to be retracted inward following the cone slot 1122, until it is retracted into the annular recess 211 of the pivot 21.
Then, the pivot 21, along with the elastic member 8, can escape from the smaller-diameter part 1121 of the pivot slot 112 of the fixing seat 11.
In addition, referring to FIG. 7, an inner side of the pivot slot 312 of the fixing seat 31 of the lower hinge 3 is a smaller-diameter part 3121 which extends outward to form a cone slot 3122 having a gradually larger diameter. Therefore, when the positioning member 2 is to be pivoted into the pivot slot 312 of the fixing seat 31 by the pivot 21, and when the elastic member 8, which is sheathed into the annular recess 211 of the pivot 21 of the positioning member 2, passes through the smaller-diameter part 3121 of the pivot slot 312, the elastic member 8 can squeeze toward an interior of the annular recess 211 to pass through the smaller-diameter part 3121 successfully. Whereas, after the elastic member 8 passes through the smaller-diameter part 3121, the elastic member 8 will be expanded outward to be abutted at the cone slot 3122 of the pivot slot 312 (as shown in FIG. 8), by its elastic restoring force, thereby preventing the elastic member 8, along with the pivot 21 of the positioning member 2, to escape from the pivot slot 312. On the other hand, when the fixing seat 31 is to be dismantled and separated, force is exerted upward to the positioning member 2, allowing the elastic member 8 to be retracted inward following the cone slot 3122, until it is retracted into the annular recess 211 of the pivot 21. Then, the pivot 21 of the positioning member 2, along with the elastic member 8, can escape from the smaller-diameter part 3121 of the pivot slot 312 of the fixing seat 31.
Furthermore, upon implementing an assembling operation, the fixing seat 11 of the upper hinge 1 and the fixing seat 31 of the lower hinge 3 can be first fixed to predetermined parts of a wall (not shown in the drawings) and of a ground (not shown in the drawings), respectively, and the pivots 21 of the two positioning members 2 can be transfixed respectively into the turntables 12, 32 of the upper and lower hinges 1, 3, -10-and can be directly, quickly, and conveniently sheathed with the pivot slots 112, 312 of the fixing seats 11, 31, respectively; thereby saving labor work and time. Next, the upper and lower hinges 1, 3 are locked and connected with the glass door 6 by the positioning members 2 in association with screwing members 5 (as shown in FIG. 6). Of course, depending on a different condition, the upper and lower hinges 1, 3 can be connected with the glass door 6 by the screwing members 5 before pivoting the two positioning members 2 with the fixing seats 11, 13.
Moreover, when the glass door 6 needs to be removed for maintenance, the glass door 6 can be separated with the two positioning members 2; then force is exerted, downward and upward respectively, to the two positioning members 2, and the two positioning members 2 can be separated from the turntables 12, 32. Besides, as the fixing seat 31 of the lower hinge 3 is provided with the bearing 3132, the glass door 6 can rotate more agilely and smoothly.
Referring to FIG. I and FIG. 7, the ring member 314 of the fixing seat 31 is also provided with a female threaded hole 3142 for locking with an elastic positioning column 315 which has male threads. The elastic positioning column 315 is provided with an inner slot hole 3151 for installing a spring 3152 and a bead 316. Atop part 3161 of the bead 316 is extended out of an upper end of the inner slot hole 3151, and an aperture at an upper end of the inner slot hole 3151 is a little smaller than a diameter of the bead 316 to prevent the bead 316 from escaping.
A top part 3153 of the aforementioned elastic positioning column 315 can be extended into an arc-shape trench 3241 which is disposed in association with the ring member 314 of the turntable 32. An interior of the arc-shape trench 3241 is also provided with a plurality of positioning indents 3242, 3243, 3244 (as shown in FIG. 7 and FIG. 9), with one of them being selected for locking with the top part 3161 of the bead 316 of the aforementioned elastic positioning column 315, thereby achieving a positioning function with multiple angles (as shown in FIG. 4).
