Tube flangers.-The metal surrounding an aperture in sheet metal, e.g., in a sheet metal cask, drum &c., is flanged and formed with a beaded edge by electrodes which operate alternately on both sides of the sheet. The past flange 5, Fig. 2, is first formed by electrodes a, b, Fig. 1, and the sheet is then reversed to be operated upon by larger electrodes which form the beaded edge 6. A capsule may be applied to the beaded flange. A screw thread may be formed in the flange.
