Abstract

A vending machine for mobile phone batteries may contain a plurality of different types of batteries. One or more means to charge said batteries may be provided. A keypad data input device may be provided.

Description:
Many countries all over the world offer products and services through vending machines. It is now regarded as a safe secure convenient way of making a purchase and millions upon millions of people world wide use them.
Mobile phones again are used world wide by millions of people from all age groups, and all share a common problem. The battery life of mobile phones may vary however all have one thing in common, the battery runs out.
During my research I have found many types of terminals / vending machines that you can place your mobile into or connect a cable; however they all have one thing in common. They are not mobile. A mobile phone is supposed to be mobile.
This idea will be a static vending machine like the ones in toilets or in shops however will contain mobile phone booster chargers for a wide variety of phones. These boosters are readily available; they have a battery in the base and an adaptor to fit your phone type.
The customer will just insert coins choose the phone type charger and vend. They can then plug in the device and continue to be mobile.
There will be an advertising feature located on the vending machine to advertise products and services.
This then gives the mobile user enough battery life to make that important call or get that number or text without having to wait for the phone whilst it is charging inside the unit like others.
Some other inventions allow you to plug your phone into a charger and charge whilst in use, again this means you are connected to the machine therefore static, not mobile! Traditional vending machines such as: Coffee machines, soft drink machines, snack machines require the following on going operations: 1. Higher unit costs for consumables 2. Refilling of consumable goods 3. Ordering of consumable goods 4. Receiving and storage of goods before refilling 5. On going supply accounting and book keeping 6. Food expiry date tracking 7. Refrigeration and technical maintenance including fault repair 8. Cleaning out interior of vending units 9. General cleaning of vending units 10. Vending collection This battery charger vending machine requires the following on going operations: 1. Maintenance and fault repair 2. Upgrade to suit new mobile phone models 3. General cleaning of vending units 4. Vending collection z 5. Refilling of goods 6. Ordering of goods 7. Receiving and storage of goods before refilling 8. On going supply accounting and book keeping While you are travelling, imagine where you can find an one?

Claims (1)

  1. Claim: There are many types of boosters, chargers, charging stations so on. However all existing vending machines share the same problem. You have to be static or leave the mobile within the charging unit for it to work.
    This idea allows you to approach a vending machine, select a charger and as the charger contains a battery within it is immediately mobile allowing you to continue with your day.
    My claim to this idea is to stock portable mobile chargers in vending machines as this differs from other vending machines because you don't have to stay with it or leave your mobile.
