245,054. Essig, N. S. Dec. 29, 1924, [Convention date]. Teeth, artificial. - An artificial tooth is formed with an elongated cervix 2 the faces of which conform to the contour of a natural root, and are formed with a slight flare 3 which constitutes a circumferential dovetail adapted to be enveloped by the rubber 4 of the plate to form an external attachment, and makes a distinct line 5 to limit the rubber in finishing. The internal attachment comprises a hole 6 of rectangular cross section which is engaged by a part 8 of the plate 4. Small holes 7 allow air to escape when the rubber is packed in.
