Abstract

Radiator A has automatic self-closing valves D fitted to the inlet and outlet, which make a push-fit connection with automatic valves C which are fitted to the water supply pipes B. Valve C forms the male coupling half, and valve D is the female half. The two halves of the coupling can be separated simply by pulling them apart, and they automatically seal so that water does not leak either from the supply pipes or from the radiator, and the radiator can be easily removed.

Description

DESCRiPTION
Push on pull off radiator.
This invention relates to a push on pull off radiator and will give advantages to anyone who wants to do soma Ill. Y. in the lKm. For exampk, wium deceraling a room tlmt's has radiators fitted the radiator may need to be removed, this can course prthlenis if u have no knowledge of pluming, the risk of leab or ilumage to the system is always a problem and could be vy costly.
To overcome this the present invention proposes a Push on Pull Off 1,wthlrç systan t will make the task of Iking off a rador and putlg it on flg.in a simple sari tia saving operation that anyone could do.
To do this a radiator will be fitted with self sealing valves either slile of the to the inlet and one to the outlet side of the the japes that connect to the raLak Will also have self seating valves fitted to them, when the valves on the pcs are pushed into the valves on the iwl the valves seal in the open position aid allow the walato flow through the system. When the radiator ncc to be disconnected sinply pill the valves apart and both the valves that arc on the mdia and the valves that an filial to the pipes will self seal and ad off the watet flow allowing the r'lior to be rcmrr.'cd from the wall. To reinstall the r'f, fix the p..tL.Ii inek on the wall and push valves that are on the pc into the valves that an on the rdtrw and the waler will flow through completing the water system gwn.
An example of the invadion is deinonshalcd by the secompanied dtawingt In fig one it shows a aiiivcniioml radinliw, A, with fixed pips, B, fitted to the inflow aid outflow of the vidator and being fixed to the walL Fig two, shows a radiator fitted with the push on pull off systcm, showing,A,jhc radiator fitted with D the female self scaling valves to the inlet sari out let water suly C male self scaling valves are fitted to B the coier pi,s.ug Fig three shows the push on pull off rdiatw system when disconnected In fig flair it shows B, C and E being the radiator wall mounting laackds without the radiator being littet
