Abstract

A device at a home, flat or office enables visitors to leave visual or audio messages for the occupier. Stored messages may be retrieved via wired or wireless communication systems and may make use of a PC, the Internet, a mobile phone or other multimedia methods. The device may be configured to play different pre-defined messages according events defined by the home owner. For example, in response to a visitor stating his name, the device may play a specific message for that visitor. The pre-defined messages may be recorded and assigned to events via a PC, the Internet or any other multimedia device or system.

Home and Office Video Welcoming alerts
Background
When a visitor or visitors arrives at a home I flat or office and finds that the occupiers are not at home, they are not able to leave any messages to the home occupier/owner or office staff or security to an electronic system(s). Alternative the home owner/occupier could leave a pre-recoded audio or video to an event defined by the home owner or office staff.
Statement of Invention
This concept and invention allows the visitor to leave a message by either speaking (audio) or by video or by sending message by Mobile or across the Internet, that they have arrived at the home or office and not found them.
The home occupier/owner or office staffs are able to retrieve these audio or video messages, using the Internet or home PC or their mobile phone or any other multi-media methods.
The alternative, when a visitor arrives at the home at states their personal name or company name, a pre-recoded message is given to that person(s) by the home occupier / owner or office staff or security to the person visiting their home or office. If no name is presented to the system, a pre-recoded message is provided or no massage.
Advantage This concept and invention allows the visitor to leave a message to the home occupier / owner or office staff or security, that they arrived at their premises and not found them at home.
The visitor would then leave, leaving no messages to the home occupier I owner or office staff or security.
The advantage of the invention allows the visitor to leave a message (audio or video) on a recoding to the home occupier / owner or office staff or security, which they arrived at their home or office and not found them at home or office.
The pre-recoded message (audio or video) shall be instigated to a pre-planned event, by the visitor mentioning their name or company name, and the system will play a pre-recoded audio or video message to the visitor.
The visitor's message could be left on an electronic recoding that could be picked up by the home occupier / owner or office staff or security via their PC, Mobile phone, Secure Internet or other multi-media methods via wired or wireless communications methods.
The pre-event audio or video message could also be recoded by the home owner/occupier or office staff or security to the system by their PC, Mobile phone, Secure Internet or other multi-media methods via wired or wireless communications methods. z

Claims (4)

  1. Claims I. This concept and invention allows the visitor to leave a
    message by either speaking (audio) or by video to an electronic system located at the home or office, that they have arrived at the home or office and not found them at home or office.
  2. 2. The home occupier/owner or office staffs are able to retrieve these visitor audio or video messages, using the Internet or PC or their mobile phone or any other multi-media methods.
  3. 3. The alternative, when a visitor arrives at the home at states their personal name or company name, a pre-recoded message is given to that person(s) by the home occupier / owner or office staff or security to the person visiting their home or office. If no name is presented, the system is instigates pre-recoded message to the visitor or no message at all.
  4. 4. The home owner or office staff can recoded the pre-defined audio or video messages and assigned it to an event, from their PC, Internet or any other multi-media device or system.
    For example, mother arrives at the front door and mentions the word "mum". The house owner system will replay the pre-recoded audio or video message back to the visitor (in this case -mum).
