Abstract

244,628. Geyser, F. R. April 6, 1925. R÷ntgen-ray tubes. - A R÷ntgen-ray tube for the treatment of skin diseases which require direct application of the tube to the skin is of square shape at the part 5 which makes contact with the skin so that as it is stepped from position to position it will cover, without overlapping, the whole of the affected part; and further, the tube is tapered from the globular body part 3 to the end 5 so that all parts of the contact surface receive adequate treatment. Extensions G, H enclose the electrodes and an upper extension 2 carries a handle 1.
