Abstract

244,385. Aero-Dynamos, Ltd., (Ventimotor Akt.-Ges.). Nov. 18, 1924. Regula.ting.-In current motors, for example wind motors, having blades 1 of stream-line form, angular-shaped slots 2 are provided which lead from the pressure side to the rear or suction side, the flow of air through these slots being regulated by spring or like controlled valves 3 pivoted on the rear side of the blades. When the wind pressure exceeds a certain limit, the valves 3 open and the transverse current through the slots disturbs the stream lines on the rear side and exerts a braking effect. Specification 206,160 is referred to.
