Abstract

The invention to which this application relates is to the provision of a toy which incorporates, in at least a portion thereof, photochromic inks or dyes and the toy further incorporates means to allow the change in condition of the photochromic inks or dyes to be achieved in a controlled manner via a light source. The relative movement between the light source and the portion can be controlled by the user. The invention also incorporates means to control the light which is emitted so as to provide a safe and effective light illumination source.
