Abstract

A holder 6 is provided for at least one toothbrush (not shown) and a toothpaste dispenser (not shown) located within a compartment 4 via tapered walls 5. A cover 3 is provided to locate said toothbrush(es) and said dispenser within said holder. The toothbrush and dispenser are aligned and held so that toothpaste may be dispensed from said dispenser directly onto said toothbrush whilst both items are held within said holder. A removable lid 2 is provided to cover the brush and dispenser/pump and may also act as a beaker, glass, mug, for the user to rinse their mouth.

<p>PERSONAL TOOTHBRUSH AND TOOTHPASTE HOLDER</p>
<p>This invention relates to a personal toothbrush and toothpaste holder.</p>
<p>A toothbrush and tube of toothpaste are essential Items of personal hygiene, which are used to fulfil a wide range of dental requirements. They should be for the specific use of an individual and should not be shared with other users. When left unprotected or uncovered in the bathroom they are susceptible to germs and the transfer of germs.</p>
<p>When taken away from the usual bathroom environment they need to be adequately stored and protected from damage. There is a need to provide a practical, reliable and convenient method of personalising the use of the toothbrush and toothpaste.</p>
<p>Accoiing to the present invention there is provided a personal toothbrush and toothpaste holder having compartments inside for a toothbrush and a toothpaste pump dispenser; inner walls or ribs for keeping the base of the toothpaste pump dispenser held secure: access holes at one end of the holder for exposing the head of the toothbrush and exposing whilst also keeping held secure the head of the toothpaste pump dispenser to enable the toothpaste to be dispensed without the removal of the toothpaste pump dispenser from the holder; and a detachable mouth rinse cup which also acts as a hygienic lid to cover the open holder.</p>
<p>The invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: FIgure 1 shows the exploded perspective view of the holder.</p>
<p>Figure 2 shows the assembled view of the holder.</p>
<p>To open the holder the mouth rinse cup 2 is removed by gently lifting clear to the right hand side followed by removal of the component for access holes 3.</p>
<p>The toothpaste pump dispenser is inserted into the compartment 4 by sliding the base of the toothpaste pump dispenser down the tappered walls 5 until the base of the toothpaste pump dispenser is held secure by the tappered walls 5 at the base of the holder 6.</p>
<p>The component for access holes 3 is then attached onto the holder 6 to hold secure the head of the toothpaste pump dispenser to enable the toothpaste to be dispensed whilst being held secure by both the tappered walls 5 and the component for access holes 3 thus allowing toothpaste to be dispensed without the removal of the toothpaste pump dispenser from the holder 6.</p>
<p>The toothbrush is then inserted into the component for access holes 3 and into compartment 7.</p>
<p>The mouth rinse cup2 is then attached onto the component for access holes 3. -3-.</p>

Claims (1)

  1. <p>CLAIMS</p>
    <p>1. A personal toothbrush and toothpaste holder having compartments inside for a toothbrush and a toothpaste pump dispenser; inner walls or ribs for keeping the base of the toothpaste pump dispenser held secure; access holes at one end of the holder for exposing the head of the toothbrush and exposing whilst also keeping held secure the head of the toothpaste pump dispenser to enable toothpaste to be dispensed without the removal of the toothpaste pump dispenser from the holder; and a detachable mouth rinse cup which also acts as a hygienic d to cover the open holder.</p>
    <p>2. A personal toothbrush and toothpaste holder according to claim I wherein the holder has a base entrance for inserting the toothpaste pump dispenser.</p>
    <p>3. A personal toothbrush and toothpaste holder according to claim 1 wherein the holder has no detachable mouth rinse cup.</p>
    <p>4. A personal toothbrush and toothpaste holder as claimed in claim 3 wherein a hygienic lid is fixed onto the holder without being able to act as a detachable mouth rinse cup.</p>
    <p>5. A personal toothbrush and toothpaste holder according to claIm 1 wherein plungers for dispensing toothpaste are also included to act as a multi purpose holder for a tube of toothpaste with a toothbrush or a toothpaste pump dispenser with a toothbrush.</p>
    <p>6. A personal toothbrush and toothpaste holder according to claim 1.2.3.4.5..</p>
    <p>wherein a solar powered or battery operated light may be included inside the holder.</p>
    <p>7. A personal toothbrush and toothpaste holder substantially as described herein with reference to figures 1-2-3-4 of the accompanying drawing.</p>
