Abstract

The invention relates to a universal construction module A used to produce steel or aluminium framed buildings. The universal construction module comprises grooves or keyways on the sides of the module A to take plate B which is attached to channel or "I" section beams. The plate B fits into the grooves on the module and is locked into position by a backing plate C. The modules can be used individually or linked together by locating the "V" groove D of each module into the corresponding groove D of the opposite module and bolting them together using the four holes E. The shank G can be inserted into a box section and secured by four bolts.

<p>UNIVERSAL CONSTRUCTION MODULE</p>
<p>SPECIFICATION</p>
<p>The construction system is based on standard parts drilled with ends cut square and cut to standard sizes these include box section,"I" beams, and channel section.</p>
<p>These are then attached to the Module with the connecting plate and locked with the backing plate,utilising the grooves and shank engineered into the module.</p>
<p>The grooves on the module allow for the fixing of horizontal sections, diagonal, and vertical section,using the grooves and the shank.</p>
<p>Thus it is possible for anyone to build a steel (or aluminium) framed construction, Which can be clad easily and quickly, inside and out with standard parts already on the market.</p>

Claims (1)

  1. <p>Claims form The Module is used to produce steel or aluminium framed
    buildings.</p>
    <p>The grooves or keyways on the sides of the module (A) are to take a plate (B), which is attached to "channel" section, or "1" beams, and then fits into the grooves on the module and then locked into position with a backing palate (C) The module can be used individually or linked together -bearing with the two V grooves (D) and bolted into position with the four holes (E).</p>
    <p>All dimensions on all sides of the modules are the same -An additional square, rectangular or round section can be attached through aperture (F).</p>
    <p>The shank G is inserted into Box section and secured by four bolts.</p>
    <p>An additional member can be inserted between the box section and the base of the module -with an extra long shank.</p>
