Abstract

A pliable material can be shaped into moulds in which melted chocolate may be poured to produce individual gifts. The material may be clay based, impregnated with silver threads, to eliminate risk of bacterial growth. Upon cooling of the chocolate, the mould may be peeled away to leave the gift. A complete package may contain mouldable material, chocolate, card/box, and instructions to produce a gift or card. There may be extra fixed plastic moulds to help complete the gift idea, for example a bow, or ribbon-shape, or a flower or a pre-moulded gift tag.

<p>"Say it in Chocolate" This invention is the use of a pliable clay based material impregnated with silver threads. This malleable material can be shaped into various moulds to be used as a vessel into which you would pour melted chocolate. As the chocolate cooled, you would peel the mould away and be left with unique band-crafted individual gifts. The fact that the base material was impregnated with silver, would mean that there would be the antibacterial benefit to the mould and so there would be the possibility of re-using the material more than once. Clearly the material would still need specific guidelines on its use and on the cleanliness of the preparation surfaces.</p>
<p>I see the uses being mainly as gifts that are boxed or mounted in plastic "bubbles" on the front of gift cards. The limits would simply be in the imagination of the user, examples of some gift ideas are enclosed on a separate page (please see page).</p>
<p>The package supplied would include putty in a sealed bag, a portion of chocolate, instructions, and a gift box/card to display and present the finished product. I can see a market for separate presentation packs for the use of adults and children with clear guidelines on the children's package about needing adult assistance for the melting and pouring of the chocolate.</p>
<p>There would be the possibility of added extra fixed plastic moulds to help complete the gift idea, for example a bow, or ribbon-shape, or a flower or a pre-moulded gift tag. The user could then also be supplied with different coloured chocolate to enhance the effect. The idea would be to be as plain and simple as possible in the supply and presentation of the products in order to leave the actual imaginative work to the purchaser, however the added extras would make it easier for the unimaginative to produce a very impressive personalised end product with minimal effort Explanation of drawin2s Using the object you wish to reproduce, you can make a mould by pressing it flnnly into the mouldable base substance(figure one) This can then be tilled with melted chocolate and left to stand until cooL(figure two) Then peel away the mouldable substance and trim gift to required sbape.(figure three) Add caption or gift tag and fit into box/card.(figure four)</p>

  1. <p>Claims 1. The production of a material that is pliable and mouldable,
    able to be used for shaping into forms to accept being filled with melted chocolate in order to produce an individual gift.</p>
    <p>2. The use of silver threads to eliminate the risk of bacterial growth and contamination within the parent mouldable material.</p>
    <p>3. The provision of additional extra fixed moulds in a plastic format to allow the enhancement of the gift package.</p>
    <p>4. The production of a complete package containing mouldable material, chocolate, card/box, and appropriate instructions to allow a person with no creative flair to produce a gift or card that is individual and attractively presented</p>
