Abstract
A fishing rod holder that has a plate 1 with a hinged arm 2 attached to the plate, were the hinged arm 2 has holes 8 to support the butt of a fishing rod, thereby allowing the user to change the fly or spinner on the fishing rod. The hinged arm 2 may be held in the stored position, when the arm 2 is parallel to the plate 1, by a bar/safety catch 7 that is pivotally attached to the plate 1 of the fishing rod holder or held in place by a magnet. Alternatively the hinged arm 7 may be held in the stored position by a magnet. The holder may be attached to a belt via belt holes 5, or clipped over the user's belt or pocket.
Description

HAND'S FREE FISHING ROD HOLDER I' The Hands free rod holder will solve
that problem of putting your rod down on the floor, trying to find where you last put your rod, and turning around and putting your foot on it and snapping it, The main idea is that changing a fly while your in a river, stream,or pond is so that you do not disturb the water with this you simply put it on like a belt on your trousers it's that simple The rod holder can be attached with a belt or simply a bend at the top of it there is a device witch clips over your belt, Then the safety catch at the top flips over and the rod holder arm comes down to reveal the holes so that the rod butt fits in to leave the rod in a standing up position so that the fishing man or women can change a fly or spinner with no hassle Once the man or women has changed there fly or spinner the rod holder can fold away nice and easy and flat to avoid fly line catching on it or rubbing there coat sleeve. 2.

-Bend to fit the leg more comfortable for the fisherman 2 -Fold down arm to hold the fishing rod in place in a up right position 3 -Paddles to make the whole thing stable.

4 -Hinge to bring the arm down so that the arm then is at the right angle position So that the rod stands up right -Belt hole so that the fisherman can ware the rod holder around his or her waist Comfortable to fish with.

6 -The bend at the top of the rod holder so that him or her did not have a belt to fit it to So that they can just flip it in to the top of trousers 7 -Bar to make the fold down arm secure so it does not drop down when not in use 8 -A device to maintain that the rod is held secure to change a fly or a spinner properly.
