Abstract
An aircraft comprises a number of inflatable Aerobelts (floats) 1 attached thereto by circular straps 6. There may be four Aerobelts 1 provided and they may have an interior layer of PVC and an exterior layer of a smooth rubberised material. The aerobelts may be split into compartments, at least one compartment 3, 5 containing an air blower to facilitate inflation. The compartment walls may also be made of PVC and may contain one-way valves. The Aerobelts are intended to allow easier and safer landing of the aircraft during difficult weather conditions such as rain or snow, or in an unscheduled landing on the sea or in a filed.
Description

1 2433923 Aerobelt's protection on aircraft This invention relates to a
device that can be used for the safety of an aircraft.

Today's aircrafts are design and manufactured using the most up to date advanced technological devices which are mostly electronic devices. As a result of the latest technology, computerised systems have made it easier and safer for the pilot(s) as well as for the aircraft itself to fly.

However the use of the Aerobelt (see eng. dr.) on an aircraft can make it easier and safer for the pilot(s) to land the airplane in difficult weather conditions like, snow, rain as well as in times where a problem arises, and the aircraft has to do a landing either on the sea or on the fields. This can be done, due to the stability offered to the aircraft using the Aerobelt 1.

The Aerobelt device, shown on the engineering drawing, consists of the following.

1. Four Aerobelts (see eng. dr.) are attached to the aircraft, using four bases 7.

2. The four bases 7 are attached to the aircraft's body using high strength straps 6 also attached to the aircraft's body in a circular way.

3. The outside of the Aerobelt 1, it is recommended to be made of high density smooth rubberised material.

4. The inside of the Aerobelt I shown on the engineering drawing, consists of a high strength PVC made (recommended) balloon shaped, separated in air compartments 2. One of the compartments 3,5 is used for a high performance air blower, blowing the proper amount of air needed to fill the air compartments, using one way air valves attached to the air compartment's high strength PVC made separating walls (valves not shown).

All drawings and dimensions used are of an Airbus A320 aircraft. Dimensions may vary according to the aircraft's size, shape and weight.

Aerobelt's protection on aircraft The Aerobelt is an aircraft's safety device which has the ability to protect the aircraft.

It is attached to the aircraft's upper and lower body area, supported from a base and the use of high strength straps attached in a circular way to the aircraft's body holding the base. The upper and lower Aerobelts are used to protect the aircraft in cases where a problem arises, and the aircraft has to do a landing either on the sea or on the fields as well as in cases where the wheels of the aircraft are not in working order. This can be achieved, due to the stability offered to the aircraft using the Aerobelt (see eng. dr.).

Claims (1)
-
CLAIMS

1. Aerobelt, an aircraft's safety device includes, base(s) supporting the Aerobelt(s) using the high strength straps attached to the aircraft's body in a circular way.

2. An Aerobelt as claimed in Claim I where the outer surface is made of high density smooth rubberized material, and the inside of the Aerobelt consists of a high strength PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride recommended) balloon shape, separated in air compartments using PVC (Polyvinyl Chloride recommended) walls with one way air valves attached to the walls helping the proper amount of air to fill the compartments.

3. A base or bases as claimed in Claim I which support the Aerobelt(s) by means of high strength straps (stainless steel recommended) in a circular way.

4. High strength straps(stainless steel recommended), as claimed in Claim 1 or Claim 3 are used to hold the Aerobelts base onto the aircraft, attached to the aircraft's body in a circular way.

5. An Aerobelt substantially as herein described above and illustrated in the accompanying drawings. Lf

Amendments to the claims have been filed as follows 1. Aerobelt, an aircraft's safety device includes, base(s) supporting the Aerobelt(s) using the high strength straps attached to the aircraft's body in a circular way.

2. An Aerobelt as claimed in Claim I where the outer surface is made of smooth rubberized material, and the inside of the Aerobelt consists of high strength PVC balloon shape, separated in air compartments using PVC walls.

3. A base or bases as claimed in Claim I which support the Aerobelt(s) by means of high strength straps in a circular way.

4. High strength straps, as claimed in Claim I or Claim 3 are used to hold the Aerobelt's' base onto the aircraft, attached to the aircraft's body in a circular way.

5. An Aerobelt as substantially herein described above and illustrated in the accompanying drawings.
