Abstract

243,257. Clare, A. J. June 8, 1925. Funnel filters.-A filter particularly for filtering milk into coolers, comprises a hopper member 1 having a ledge 5 forming a recess in which fits resiliently a perforated plate 6 having a flange 7 gripping the filtering fabric 8 so that a space is left between the fabric and the plate in which the loose fibres of the fabric may have free play. The filtering medium may be the fabric described in Specification 174,174. Specification 185,807 also is referred to.
