243,244. Kammerer, 0., and Arbenz, W. U. May 18, 1925. Plant for relaying track. - In a railslewing machine consisting of a bridge resting at its ends on rail trucks and carryat its centre lifting and slewing rollers 24 engaging the rails, the rollers are carried in pairs by swing members 5 rotatable about their centres on a vertical axis or pivot 6. The pivots are mounted in a transverse carrier 7 so that the distance between pairs of members 5 can be adjustable. The carrier 7 is suspended by rods 9 from levers 10 carried by the bridge 25; the levers are engaged by a screw 12 to raise or lower the carrier while the rods 9 have slotted ends 8 to allow the carrier to rise with uneven ground level. A screw 13 engages levers 14 carrying rollers 15 which move the carrier transversely.
