Rafts.-In rafts of the kind described in the parent Specification comprising an inflatable annular body which supports a central platform, slipping of the inner tube relatively to the outer cover is prevented by employing an over-size inner tube relatively to the outer cover. The end in view is also assisted by roughening the surfaces in contact or forming the warp or woof of the tube different from the warp and woof of the cover. Spaced strips of material may also be secured to the inner surface of the cover. The cover is made in upper and lower halves united by stitching at their edges, and in the case of an elongated cover, the rounded ends may be made in segments.
