Abstract
The accessory 1 has an external wall 3, preferably of conical shape, which defines an open end at the base of the cone and an air vent at the opposite end. The device has an elongate internal hair-moulding form 4 and an air inlet with a hair drier attachment means extending from the wall 3 proximate to the open end. Hot air from the hair drier is then directed through the air inlet to circulate between the external walls 3 and the form 4, in order to shape and curl hair that is wrapped around the form. The forms may be interchangeable (see Figs. 7 to 11) to achieve different curling effects and a plurality of them may be used simultaneously (Figs.4, 5). The hair drier attachment may be movable so as to change the angle of the airflow.
Description
HAIRDRIER ACCESSORY
This invention relates to a hair drier accessory.
When trying to achieve a variety of different movements with in the hair, for example, a spiral movement, a soft bouncy movement, a spiral curl with in a twist, a big curl going to a tight curl, a tight curl going to a big barrel curl or a combination of all looks on one head.
People find that it takes a lot of time and a high skill level that's way in excess of most non-hairdressers and some hairdressers. In addition people who want to achieve these different looks on them selves fmd it particularly hard to do the back of there hair.
To over come these problems this invention proposes a hairdryer accessory that directs the hot air around its shape at adjustable angles causing the hair to be spiralled around the internal shapes. The internal shapes can be interchangeable or kept as a solid mould which will achieve a vast variety of different movement patens and combination looks quickly and easily on the hair.
The simplicity of the design allows the hot air to be blown at angles around its shape, which in turn winds the hair round the internally placed shapes. This makes it very easy for both hairdressers and the general public to achieve a variety of different movements with in the hair quickly and effectively.
Preferably, the accessory will have interchangeable internal shapes.
Preferably, the accessory will have air vents in the bottom.
Preferably, the accessory will have a universal hair drier attachment.
Preferably, the accessory will be cone shaped.
Preferably, the accessory's hairdryer attachment will be able to move so that the angle of the airflow can be changed.
The invention will now be described solely by way of example and with references to the accompanying drawings in which: Page 1/6 Figure 1 shows the hair drier accessory page 2/6 Figure 2 shows a plan view of the accessory.
Page 2/6 Figure 3 shows one of the proposed internal shapes.
Page 3/6 Figure 4 shows one of the proposed combinations of internal shapes.

Claims (4)
1 A hair drier accessory that directs hot air from the top at different angles round its shape causing the hair to be moulded and dried around its internal shape and then vented out, leaving the hair with a variety of different movement in it.
2 A hair drier attachmpnt according to claim 1 in which the internal shapes can be changed to achieve different movement patens in the hair.
3 A hair drier attachments according to claim I incorporates a universal bairdryer attachment.
4. A hairdryer accessory defined in claim 1 has internal moulded shapes that can be added separately or have a simultaneous use of different moulding forms within it's external walls, which the hot air is directed around.
4 A ha*yer attachment according to claim 1 in which there are air vent in the base to allow the air to be vented out.
Amendments to the claims have been filed as follows:
1. A hairdryer accessory that directs blow only hot air at an angle of between 1 and 180 degrees in a spiral motion in from the top of the side wall around its internal cone shape to fill the void within its internal wall from the widest part of a cone shape to the narrowest.
2. A hairdryer accessory defined in claim 1 that completely surrounds any added internal forms. (to avoid heat dissipation and encourage air to flow around the form) 3. A hairdryer accessory defined in claim 1 has an internal cone shape, which is open at the widest point and in which there is an air vent in the base (narrowest point) to allow air and hair to be vented through between 1 and 1000 holes.
